The Ducks finally got off the schneid and hired their new head coach...not a bumped up assistant that they have been doing in the last 20 years...but a dude who has turned a program around...is young, energetic, likes the offensive side of the game...

Willie Taggart...40 years young...from USF...like South Florida...well, he is gonna be in a shock when he finds a place to live in Eugene....da weather is mighty different...his background is excellent and now the real story begins...who he surrounds himself with...and more importantly, who he recruits...by all accounts, the players buy into him...I am optimistic...

You know, Brad Bohunk, was available, too...

The Voice...as I have been saying for quite some time now...the quality of the unfound 'singer' has dwindled...I think it's cuz of too many of these type of shows...anyway, the final 5 were on last eve...I have NOT been watching...and me thinks that these are just average at best...sorry, you who love this presentation...Blake and Adam drive it...but NO, the product is not a 'star'...

Speaking of Blake...like I headlined yesterday...I can't be more emphatic than I was about his Xmas vinyl (and CD)....and, he is coming our way for concerts in the new year...in May...one here, and one in Vegas...hmmm...trying to figure out the one to go to...hmmm...we saw him last year in Nashville...

Time...the magazine...they still put it out, you know...do you read it?...right, me neither...the hint is that the 'person of the year' is going to be Donald Trump...aren't most of these rags liberal?...got to be tough on the editor to do that...makes more sense to name Jill Stein...I digress...this JUST IN...Trump was named it...

Hype...which many of the pundits get paid to do...no more than this hoops season on Duke...of course, most of their games are carried nationally...and don't get me wrong...they are good...but, if you believed the hype, you'd think that they are NBA worthy...now...nope...Kentucky and UCLA are both better...trust Horse...

So many people talking about the 60 points that GS's Klay Thompson put up the other night...it was real, kids...he can be that hot...and...they play the Clip Joint tonight...hey, you may not be a NBA fan, but this one will be worth your time...

New fangled things...the lights on our KK tree change colors...as do the lights on our balcony...so, we coincide them...last night it was blue....tonight will be red...you get the pix...what will they think of next?...

There is a shindig for our condo people down at the Kansas City Barbecue tonight...a meet and greet...ha ha...this is the place that the 'famous bar scene' was videoed in the movie "Top Gun"...'You've lost that lovin feelin'...the song that many of our era adopted as 'our song'...Righteous Brothers...who, BTW, are still performing in Vegas...well, the one who is still alive, Bill Medley, and some other dude...should be Righteous Brother...anyway, I have to go there and glad hand all the possible voters...just kidding...

More cabinet news...you were asking, right?...what is gonna happen with Chris Christie?...the scuttle is that he has issues with Ivanka's husband...a no no for him and anyone who has ideas about getting aboard...choo choo...no choo choo, for CC...

Today is a day for Xmas shopping...we are doing the socks again...I like doing this...
