Early Xmas Present

Hey hey, I think you just got your EARLY Xmas present...maybe not what you wanted...I reckon...but, yes, in fact, the Electoral College met and did their thang...and, despite the Jill Stein road block...and the countless emails sent to the delegates by the DNC...the system prevailed...and Donald J Trump is your (our) next Prez of the USA...

CNN or one of them stations interviewed an electorate...a first timer...and he said that he got 90,000 emails on why and how he should change his vote...is it just me, or has the web net grown too fast to keep up with the screening of what gets on and thru it?...

The layers of our voting system is extraordinary...think about it...for the primaries...there is individual voting in person...at a booth...there are caucuses that one goes to, to get persuaded to vote for whomever...there are mail in ballots...there are absentee ballots...and then...whoever wins...may get all the delegates, or a percent of the votes cast...varies by state...whew...and that's just the Repubs...add on the super delegate shame of the Demos...who already count in the end tally for their chosen one...just in cast there is an Obama or Sanders that emerges to screw up the intended candy woman (or man)...yup, that's just the primaries...

In the general election...more layers...with the exception of the super delegates...and...each state is a winner take all...regardless of how close it is...hmmm....then...in the end...like what we saw yesterday...there are these reps, called electorates...who make it a done deal...unless the opponent can sway them....egads...top all of this off, is the reference that the Russians hacked into the system and helped rig the election...with all these layers, where on earth did they do so?...

Do I have you confused?...should be...we have it way too complicated...somehow it works...due to the term limits of it all...thank goodness for that...as a dictator is and always has been disastrous...

And...the evil has struck again in Turkey and Germany...we can never do enough prevention...but must always be trying...hmmm...count me as one of them guys, who kind of likes the layer of protection that Prez Trump proposes...

You know, the above shatters the much less important things that I usually write about...the very mundane sports stuff...ha ha...well, it sure gets my attention...

I am a big time believer in the UConn gals hoop team...kind of like the olden times guys UCLA one...they dominate their sport like no other....however, I did see this year's version last eve...and, gulp, they are not like in the past...well, 10 years...seem vulnerable this time around...

The only thing that keeps the Chargers in San Diego, is the vote of the NFL...blocking them from doing so...the thing is...LA doesn't want them...shoot, LA doesn't want what they have...the Rams...

Speaking of the NFL...they are playing some of their games on Saturday now...what the heck?...I have no idea when these blokes are on...leave it on Sunday, guys...there is much discussion about the lack of viewers...well, if the public doesn't know when you are playing, it makes a HUGE difference...

Smut time...Flip says Flop has been over the line...and the marriage is over...so over...so Flip is dating another...cuz Flop flagged the fanny of the nanny....wait, TMI...

We went shopping yesterday...and I was mildly surprised...not nearly as many cars out...and thus, people...calm before the storm?...I am a fan of the last second sales...you know I do need some new golf gloves...wait, that's the wrong message Horse...it's the giving...damn, right...

I have been carrying a broken up key fob for my old Lexus...you know the '04 one...for some time now...the dealership told me it was gonna be like 4 or 5 big bills to replace it...geez...found a locksmith who would do it for $70...yup, works like a charm...the place was in Little Italy...

BTW, this is our new destination site to move...have to stay on the west coast, cuz of the kids...so, we start the long process of looking...for just the right place...you know, I do look a bit Italian...
