Surprise Surprise Surprise
As the infamous, Gomer Pyle, said so eloquently...'Surprise Surprise Surprise!'...who'd a thunk that the Mighty Ducks of Orygun...would put up such a fight in Provo...down to the wire...in an effort that they haven't had in over a month...but wait...their last ditch pass into the end zone...which was ruled incomplete...wait for it...may have been good...TG for replays in the game now...In fact, it was a CATCH and the winning TD!!!...however, it was now down to the replays dudes to confirm...they did and the Ducks marched out of Utah with a miraculous win...and needed momentum for the Civil War game next Saturday in Corvallis...BTW, the Beavs beat up Arizona to match the enthusiasm...
Kind of a bad day for some back judges...as the same call was made at the end of the wild SDSU and Wyoming game...as the Aztecs threw a hail mary at the the buzzer...called incomplete, also...and...'after further review'...and I mean like 5 minutes...wooah...called good and a game tying TD...but...hold on to your Rocky Long bobblehead doll...in lieu of kicking the extra point and going to OT...Rocky went for 2 and to get the bloody game over with...he did, they didn't, and the Cowboys won...oh my...that had to be a fun flight home...
OK...did watch a whole gaggle of games yesterday...and many of them from the so called 'elite' conference, the Big 10 (er 14)...I'm gonna tell ya...Ohio St and Michigan looked anything but...like real champs of the nation...going on reputation and the bloody east coast pundits...and their Final 4 followers...think it's headed towards a sham...and more so, a shame...money, kids money...where ever those two teams go, they bring it and lots of it...$...
No word out of the golf course...where Prez-elect Trump and Mitt Romney met up...like in Jersey...good thing as if they met in the Tower, nobody could have moved an inch in Manhattan...right?...that's what 'they' say...as to how the meeting went...and if there was an agreement as to Romney being part of the cabinet...
What are the Demos after?...thinking they can change the electoral college?...after their candidate got beat?...sure, the Hilz won the popular vote quite handily...but...you purists, who thrive on historical followings....want to change up...well, this time...you know, seems to me, that YOU are dividing up the country more than Trump is...
Enough of the politics...I am soooo over it...for the most part, find it boring and redundant...c'mon people let's move on...it is what it is...
Just a marvelous turkey dinner last eve with our friends, the Mackles...we all had stuff we made and it was just so damn good...all the fixings...nice wine...and...leftovers!...I played Xmas music throughout the nite...gosh, it was sooooo festive...
My FF team is looking for it's 4th straight win...yessirree bob...and, at this rate, will be knock knock knock on the playoff doors...Coach Bohunk had to sit some starters due to late night carousing...he rules with an iron fist...well, with a tall, aluminum can of Bud Light...in it...
