President...TRUMP!

Say what?...without a doubt the most surprising of all elections in my life...the people have had their say...and it is Donald Trump as the next Prez...number 45...as we were watching the results...starting with Kentucky and Indiana...shock and awe went through my system...not that he was winning those two, but by the numbers!...immediately, I sensed that this day and night may...just may...be a bit tighter than I expected...

I had said to watch Ohio...as it would be a tipping scale to the election...yes, and Florida and North Carolina, too...all went Trump's way...it took awhile, for most of the votes to be tallied...yup, I was scanning both CNN and FOX...back and forth...get this...the one most reluctant to announce was FOX...and the night went on and on...more and more states announced for the Donald...

We went to bed around 11...knowing that either Michigan or Pennsylvania would be the final straw...and...Pennsylvania did it!...at 11:30 our time...Clinton called Trump and conceded...

How did this happen?...reasons are all over the place...here is the Horse take...

He outworked her...met with thousands more of the people...over and over...when she was talking to high dollar Demos at dinners, he was at stadiums...

Listen...most of the blame should be directed toward the DNC...the elite of the party...who humiliated the common Demo with the blatant way they got her elected over Bernie Sanders...using the "super delegate sham" as a shield for their want of Hillary...yet the common man or woman, felt that their vote was useless...or fruitless...

Then...the selection of the VP...the DNC underestimated the ground swell of Bernie's support...didn't bring him along on the ticket...in essence, threw away the "young voters" that he had brought into the election process....

The polls...the pundits...the experts...how could they be so far off?...biased journalism...appeared to just fall off the shoulders of the common man and woman...who did the actual voting...

After a few days...the country will calm down...and the transition will take place...it's the Repubs turn to try their hand at running the nation...

Yes, I am surprised...not mad...let's just see where this takes us...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
