If I Voted

How about that for a dude who said he was going to run for Prez...your fav singer and KK (not KKK) mate, Kanye West...stopped his concert and ranted on...ha ha...wait, that could have been the song...er, whatever he does...and gave the audience..."If I voted...it would have been for Trump!"...wait...if he voted?...listen dude, if you are gonna be a candy man, you gotta show you are part of the process...right?...maybe this is a humorous blog today...

Your girl, Megyn Kelly, is all over the news waves in New York City...is there not a show she isn't on?...sure, doing the book promo thinger...I guess...hey, she is a hot commodity...and now...the JOURNALIST can speak her mind...especially on the recent election...how she was mistreated by Prez-elect Trump...seems to me...that she just may be taking advantage of her job...don't get me wrong, as the Horse has said before...she's smart, witty, quick, good looking...and ready for another gig...hmmm...

I keep belly aching about the lack of new music...finally, two of the more popular country gals released CD's today...Miranda Lambert and Faith Hill...Miranda's is a 2 cd one...and has some good tracks...hey, she is way way country...and a decent listen...Faith has hers on the line of Carrie, with the booming voice...both have a nitch...get on over to iTunes and give them a listen...we see her and some bloke named Tim, in a concert here in SD...already got tix...

Staying in the music field...it's also the time for 'new' Xmas CD releases...Amy Grant (terrific), Kacey Musgraves, and the Rascal Flatts for 3 that have done so...there are others...Horse absolutely loves Christmas music...loves it...you have to spin the vinyl of Amy's...gosh it is right on...hey hey...and when we return from Vegas, we put up the tree and get real festive...

OK, I have mentioned Prez-elect Trump twice so far...this is the 3rd time...as he is in the middle of figuring out his cabinet...never, ever, has the press been so enamored, er curious, er questioned the selections for the different posts...am I right or am I right?...and of all the people...he is bringing in Mitt Romney to the NYC Trump Tower for a confab...imagine how the City is blocked up...bucket list...to go to NYC for Xmas...not this year...what you think, Cris and Leila?...

You still watching 'Survivor?'...the "dude" got the axe this week...oops, I hope you are not taping it...and how about "Madam Secretary?"...no better written show on the pixels...the last show had pertinent fears for our country...unbelievable...if you aren't watching it...get your act together...

So...if you are an Oregonian...and you are vacationing here in SoCal...and...you pull up to the gas station...and expect some bloke to fill up your car tank....you will be sitting there are all day and all night...you gots to do your own, homie...BTW, Marsh has never done it...it is MY JOB!...

Did our shopping for the weekend's turkey dinner...made the cranberry sauce...the only thing left to do...well, it is a lot...cooking...and getting the Julian Pie...our good friends, the Mackles, are joining us as we break bread...wait...what the H does that mean?...

Get me hairs cut today...then head on out to the course for a round...been awhile and will be awhile before I play again...just another nice walk in the park...

Look at me...very little if anything about sports today...for those of you that say 'you only write about sports stuff'...this is your day...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
