Game 7

Morning kids...the Cubbies got er done in Game 6...big bats by USD's Kris Bryant, former Pad Anthony Rizzo, and a grand salammy by SS Addison Russell...with strong pitching by Arrieta...and the pen...the magic formula to get this set into GAME 7!...and most of the nation rejoices...well, da Cubbie ones...

I got to thinking...whoa now...how long has it been that a team has come back, down 3 games to one...to win the Series?...talking beisbol...kind of the same in other sports, too...all the way in history to them Kansas City Royals in 1985!...

So what gives today?...does the top AL pitcher in the biz, Cleve's Corey Kluber, hold to form...or does the cool hand luke thrower, Kyle Hendricks, prevail?...hmmm...me thinks that the Cub's bats are alive and well now...and, gulp, I have the Cubbie Nation going absolutely crazy 4-2...and their W will be EVERYWHERE!...

NBA...did you see the Warrior game at PDX last eve?...on the NBA station...with the new Blazer announcers in the booth...my gawd they are AWFUL!...I digress....from a close game in the 3rd Q, to a blow out in like 35 seconds...Curry did his thang and it was over...I'll give PDX a pass, as there isn't much you can do about it, when he goes off...

Yea...I am dumbfounded about this election...people scrambling all about...who to pick...er, who NOT to pick...the polarized sides are undaunted...it's the man (and woman) in the middle that will decide this one...here we go again...but I am a believer of momentum...and one candy man has it over the candy woman...but...

It's not the overall popular vote that wins...it's the state by state winner...and there's the advantage for Ms Clinton...I think..."battleground" states are crucial and the candidates squirm all over them...I'm not sure what to take from all them polls...are they accurate?...I think this...it's not who you are voting for, but who you are NOT voting for...easily, the most disliked 2 choices by the nation...and THAT poll I believe...

Horrific news out of Iowa...as an ambush of 2 policeman took place...when will this end?...

Brighter side...

The CMA's are tonight out of Nashville...c'mon you have to dig this...Brad and Carrie host...at least catch their monologue...it will be worth your time...think it starts at 8pm...can beisbol promise that the game 7 is over by then?...prob not..gonna have to tape it...next year, we WILL be there...front row...ha ha...naw, that's for them sangers...

Walked the course yesterday...whew...tired doggie...somehow, won the $...I never win...heh heh...shhh...don't tell the boyz, but that's two in a row...hard to figure, as one of 'em shot a 75...and didn't win..."Wolf"...you know, the game that the last person picks as his partner...and I am NEVER picked...ha ha...wonder why?...

There is this dude that writes in the Trib on sports...been doing it forever...and he grades the Bolts after each game, via the teacher mode...A-F...usually rips the poor team apart...however, he ended his last one with an "A" for beating the next opponent...the Titans, who he called "awful"...think that's not going up on the Tennessee wall?...foo....

The stage is set for the Breeder's Cup...starts Friday...when we are going to Striders...and the bulk are on Saturday...when California Chrome runs...at even money...today I start looking the races over...and  do the Horse handicapping...figuratively...that is...

You get your bills done yesterday?...huge advantage to living in a high rise...don't have many to pay...it's all part of the deal...imagine if I had to break down everything and pay them separately...still...all online and don't send much via the mail anymore...do you, too?...

OK...get over to Vegas and put your bet down...this from the one and only Glenn Beck..."The race is over...Donald Trump 'should win' by 5 points!"...there you go...put a quid down...

Why now...would the FBI release a 2001 Bill Clinton pardon...at the end of his presidency...of Marc Rich?...a "fugitive financier"...who skipped the country...to Switzerland...somehow ties into a donation to the Clinton Foundation...by the wife of...what the Beck, er heck?...odd...what is going on?...

Have I ever told you, it's hard to trust any politician?...I want to...as they are the best in the world...I think...hmmm...food for thought...

And that's where I'm going next...the food trough...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
