Breeder's Cup

Hey now...wassup?...it's the Breeder's Cup!...first of 2 days...the best horses in the world go at it...Santa Anita Park in LA...next year, it's right here in San Diego...at Del Mar...4 races today and the rest tomorrow...meeting Hdcp Andy and off we go...I got it wide open in the Juvenile and then pretty much to form the other 3...early thoughts, that is...

The Golden St Warriors were ready for the Thunder last eve...in a laugher at Alameda...the big 3, Durant, Curry, and Thompson, took turns dominating...and it was over before the 1/2...the latest gig for all these sports stations is to feature old players as analysts...and sit at a table and laugh...thank you Chas Barkley...anyway, one of them actually had 'Sheed!...wowser, wondered what happened to that mercurial bloke...

There were some country folk a bit uneasy with Beyonce at the CMA's...what?...you got to be kidding...just some...I will say that the combo of her and the Dixie Chicks was odd...like oil and water...just totally different abilities...some lurved it, some not...me thinks that she should have performed all by herself...it appeared the Chicks ran out of gas, trying to keep up with her...

I will never believe in the rationale of the changing of the hour in "daylight saving time"...damn, I have to change all me watches and clocks...if not for anything else, for that...don't give me what the country says, I don't believe 'em...

So...what are you thinking about the next 96 hours?...when the votes are cast...you comfortable that it will be your gal Hillary as the Prez winner?...or do you think that there is a big upset in the Donald?...Horse's odds have it at 60-40 that the Demos will prevail...unless...something breaking comes out...you fill in the rest...

Who wasn't watching game number 7 in the World Series?...has to be the largest crowd in a long time...a fact that both Prez wannabe camps figured too...as they each ran a series of disgusting commercials lambasting the other...like we didn't already know they were suspect...wasted $ in my book...

Survivor...don't they know that showmances never, ever work?...Figgy, come on...you must have watched a gazillion episodes in the past...you deserved to get the boot, for that fact alone...

Shhh...don't tell anyone...this is high school stuff...there is a private wine club in this building of ours...to get in you must get on a waiting list...shhh...they have secret hand shakes and must swear allegiance to the honor code of the eternal grape...well now...we are thinking of starting are own, too...for all those who are banished or are not worthy of the aforementioned...do they "black ball" potential members?...shhh....just don't put this in Weiner's emails...

Say it isn't so...but McDonalds... yea the burger joint...is fooling around with the Big Mac...what?...testing out some modifications...like a Jr...and or a bigger Big Mac...like larger pieces of meat...geez, that sounded strange...6's rather than 10's...anyway...the key is the secret sauce...am I right or am I right?...

Megyn Kelly...FOX News...BTW, is that her correct spelling of Megan?...with a "y?"...why?...duh, to be diff...anyway...she added a bit to her upcoming book...that she was harassed by the then Prez of FOX, Roger Ailes...who allegedly, hit on most of his women hires...right?...saw her bit on the "Howard Stern Show"...did you see it?...she can handle herself....very, very bright journalist...

OK, I have been all over the map today...as some of my readers point out...that's the way me mind works...and usually ends this way...I get hungry...of course, it does help that Richard Walker's Pancake shop is beneath us...and gets a going as I am finishing up...the smells are heavenly...

Hmmm, a pancake sandwich sounds awfully good...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
