Octoberfest

Morning, kids...we have a new month...October...which in my boooook, is the one of football...pretty much in full swing now...and find it utterly ridiculous that baseball is still playing...check out the awful weather up in the northeast...hey, MLB, either start earlier...or cut your season down just a bit...I digress...lookee at the Aztecs at South Alabama...and the Ducks at the Cougs...egads....I got to see some collegiates go at it last night...

Which was billed as a top fray between two top 10ers...turned out to be a laugher...as the Dawgs destroyed the Stanford Cardinal...in Seattle...beat 'em up in the inside...a real tough thing to do...and the rest was easy for Wash...who is now the clear fav to come out of the west, right?...BTW, and I am talking to you real Beaver Believers now...the O Coordinator of the Dawgs is the one and only Dennis Erickson led OSU QB, 5'6" Jonathan Smith...they showed him in the coaches box...barely could see his head only...ha ha...am I right?...

But...the game that caught Horse's fancy...was the BYU/Toledo one...had the atmosphere of one of them many dreadful season ending bowl games...OK, that sounds like you should pass it up...but...NO!...it was entertaining...each team had just terrible D...so, the O's looked like they were simply awesome...well...whoever (whomever?) had the ball last was going to win...true...as the Cougs won at the buzzer with a FG...in the 50's...couldn't turn it off...

Ryder Cup...well, day 1 was a doozy!...the US won all 4 matches in the am...and Europe won 3 of 4 in the afternoon...like 50,000 golf fans there in Minnneeeessssooooota...it is like pretty even thus far...duh...of course, I watched most of it...so...as you can see, I spent a lot of pixel time yesterday...it has started already today on the golf channel...wait...it's on NBC...will turn it on as soon as I finish writing this...

So how is the Prez race going along?...it is now turned to who has been in a porn film...what?...surely not the Hilz...wait, is that sexism?...calm down kids...it's the topic that has come up...that the Donald popped a bottle of champagne in a soft porn movie of the 90's...good job Demos, way to go to find that gem...let's get back to the real issues...hmmm...wait...there are issues, right?...I dunno...the more this meanders about, it appears that it may be a home run for Ms. Clinton...sorry, Stan, but the baggage is too big...

Do you call this a cat fight?...on DWTS, one of the contestants has a large type of build...body shape?...and one of the female judges made mention that when she was dancing it was making her uncomfortable...the dancer caught wind of the statement...called out body shaming...what?...as Kramer says "cat fight!"...the names are Julianne Hough and Amber Rose...check 'em out...

As I have told you...I have ordered the iPhone 7 plus...will take until Thanksgiving...but, the extras that I got with it...arrived yesterday...usually the parts sell out faster...mu buddy's wife got one by just going into their local Verizon store and they had one there...no ordering...it was on hand!...I tried that in Maui...nope...not me...wasn't that a song by the Orlons?..."Not Me"...

Hows the battle for the "Preller Cup" going?...good thus far...as the DBacks got game number one in 'Zona...we have to just lose the next two and the crown is ours...in case you haven't been following this...I'm talking the AAA Pads...who, BTW, rested their HR hitting dude, Renfroe...last night...rested!...good lord...I keep telling any who will listen, this is a major mess of a club...

Dang it all...October 1 also reminds me that it is the day to PAY them damn bills...boo....

And oh yea...there is a celebration of Octoberfest out at La Mesa...debating it...go by the trolley...has to be tomorrow if we do...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
