Ice Ice Baby

Morning kids...set to fly outta here in a few hours...but have to talk about the latest version of DWTS....Dancing With The Stars...who, really, are the Pro Dancers...now...Derek, Macks, Val, Whitney, Cheryl...and on and on...they have earned the top billing in Horse's book...

The funnest one of last night's first nite...was Vanilla Ice...doing "Ice Ice Baby"...with Whitney...so much fun, it almost got me off the couch...well, almost...the Oly gal with Val, were heads and shoulders above most others...Jana Kramer, the country sanger, was damn good...do not know her pro...and the terrible part of the eve....was when the much embattled Oly swimmer, Bryan Lochte, paired with my gal Cheryl...got heckled from the crowd...and then rushed by a couple of thugs...alarming...should be a great season...trust Horse...

Couple of NFL games last eve...Pitt over the Skins...Big Ben is a stud...doesn't panic like you know who...very similar games...the 49ers over the Rams...stomp really...good for Chip...as the sitter, the backup QB...did just that during the game, too...sat...good...oops, showing where I stand on the issue...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
