Game Day

Top of the morning, to ya"ll...it is GAME DAY!...my pardner from way yonder ago, Snooki, will be attending opening day at Autzen...to see them Duckies take on the hooligans from UC Davis...jealous, I am...it is on the Pac 12 Network down here...yup, I will watch it...GO DUCKS!...

No problem with the timing...as all my golf buddies canceled today for various reasons...thus, I will skip the trip into El Cajon...be hack free...and do some giddy ups around the condo...besides, whenever I have a decent round, my follow up is usually a disaster...ha ha...

We are hosting a din din thinger tonight for our Sammi 2nd family...and I must tell you, the Weber Grill we got is...stupendous!...is that a word?...spell check let it go...must be...it is an Italian nite and we are ready to go...should be loads of fun...they always are...

I am...dark...well, you know that...but my hairs are back to kind of normal...whenever I look in the mirror...which is way too often...I am shocked at the color...used to seeing me dumb blonde...I like it and I hope you do too...whoever YOU are...

That 49er Kaepernick sit out...it does snowball...and ...now the SF Police say they may boycott doing the games there...he doesn't have a clue...I could say more, but enough is enough...c'mon dude...

Your AAA Padres somehow went into LA and beat them Bums in game numero uno...4-2...surprising pitching by Clayton Richards...kind of like a resurrection mode for him...and Solarte's dinger was the diff...good for them....BTW, our traded away Pads, were at 15 hits and 10 rbi's yesterday...hmmm...

Back to football...it was day one of cuts in the NFL...hmmm...not one of my FF picks were cut...yet...and they said I had a bad draft...ha ha...

And the college teams that all them pundits have been touting...like Mich St...and Tennessee...and Stanford...all started way below the level that were expected...they won, but not by the numbers that the elite voting committee likes...

Watched some more of CNN's "The Seventies" shows...lawdy, they are so well done...does take you back...you MUST see them...they are that good...

Horrible earthquake in the heartland...from Nebraska to Texas...do they frack there?...just a thought...5.6 magnitude...who was the dude who got the credit for naming the word magnitude?...somebody had to make it up....

How about this quote...from the one and only Pamela Anderson, "porn is for losers"...what?...calling what kettle black?...ha ha...

First namers...Cher...Madonna...Barbra...JLo (2 names?)...Britney...now comes, Khloe...what?...say it isn't so...

Speaking of that, where the heck has Hillary been?...the Donald is everywhere, and she has been nowhere...what am I missing?...other than her...

And...SDSU hosts New Hampshire...today...I know where the state is...but what is the mascot?...are they D1?...more questions than answers...you'd think I would give them to ya...

Finally...this next week there is a CD being released...that has the Beatles LIVE at the Hollywood Bowl...LaLa land...a compilation of 3 concerts there from '64-'65...and it is also being released on vinyl...which Horse will get...listen, this is historic...and a must buy...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
