Road Trip

Packed (nope!)...shoot...gotta get it a going...as we head out this am...yup, and the dawg, Sammi, is going, too...she is the best traveler....EVER!...used to take her via plane, too...no problem...anyway....the Lexus (now a vintage rig) is carrying the plants...not the MJ type, kids...c'mon, we gotta get a moving...2004 and it still seems new...

Man, I stayed up to watch them Padres...go figure...as we won it in OT....as Detlef Schimpf hit a dinger to win it...super night for him...2 hr's and 2 doubles...woah...an item for concern...ha ha...where do I start?...C Norris is beat...actually throwing from his knees to the bases...let in, at the time, a critical run...with an errant knee throw to 3B on a steal...which Ariz was doing at will...wake up, brass...a rest is needed...

The Bolts...beat up the other Ariz team...the Cardinals...over at the Q....badly...is there promise on the horizon?...well....it's the guys who wanna make the team, that played most of it...anyway, our new PK seemed like a good one...I dunno...

The Oly hoop teams play for the gold this weekend...hip hip...for the guys, Serbia is a tough out...close one the past week with them...iff the USA plays up to their abilities, it should be a stomp...the gals?...will be a romp in Rio...nobody even close to them...gold gold...

I just started to bone up on the upcoming FF draft...picking 6th, I guess...figure I should get a good QB or RB with that...the way it is set up, you have 1 min and 15 sec to choose...have to have your act together...unless you auto draft it...anyway, it's a small $ league...it's the PRIDE of it all, kids...the pride...

If you are a pony person...today is the day out at Del Mar...California Chrome and Beholder square off...and some other decent ones...CC has PP1...never good for a big race...place will be packed...which it has been...SD loves this track...so does Horse...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
