Nostalgia

Morning kids...Horse has a bit of the nostalgia surrounding his
mini-brain...heard the song by Scott McKenzie "San Francisco"...took me right back...to the late 60's and early 70's...no doubt my favorite time of songs...beautiful...think about CSNY, Jefferson Airplane, the Mamas and Papas...and on and
on...makes me want to put on my beads and get in my Volks camper van...and go see the USA...all over again...

OK, I'm back...

Trump has another shakeup in his organization...at the top...2nd time, right?...well, not at the VERY TOP...ha ha...has to be a great sign...another one...for the Demos...right?...the more one looks at the Candy Man, the more doubts emerge...

Is beach volleyball more popular than regular 6 person volleyball?...if you go by the interest at Rio, you might think that...

The men USA hoops are in the do or die, er, win or go home phase of the Olys...today versus Argentina...I am a doubter of this team...as you know...the best players are not playing the best D...

I think that if you live below sea level, flooding has to be on your mind most every year...Louisiana...some places just don't make sense to me...

Of course, you could say the same thing about the hills of SoCal...where there is extreme dry conditions...and just waiting to be destroyed by fires...

Fantasy Football...around the corner...I will go to Barnes & Noble...pick out a fine mag and use it as my base for my pix...the draft is on the 31st...and you have 1 minute per pick...believe me, it goes way fast...

One month from today, we are going to be feasting in Paia, at Mama's Fish House...the best seafood restaurant in the world...well, in our world...also, probably the spendiest...

Golf is back in the Olympics, after a 100 year hiatus...really?...who played golf then?...what were the balls made of?...how about the sticks?...many, many Q's...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
