More Cowbell!

Yes, one of the funnier skits on SNL...right?...lead by the player, Will Ferrell, and the song producer, Christopher Walken...as they were leading a song by Blue Oyster Cult...egads...well, I was watching a football game last eve...swore I heard a cowbell in the background...and got me mini-mind a going...

"We need more cowbell!"...got me a thinking...can you name me a song or two, that used one in the song...like famous ones?...probably the tune that used it most...was by the Rolling Stones...what?...listen to it..."Honky Tonk Women"...and get this...none of the Stones were banging it...it was a dude in the background...and...there was another that I recall...by Grand Funk Railroad..."We're An American Band"...yea, that's the one...you got others?...

The football game was the 1st collegiate one of the season...in Australia...what?...like football, not futbol...er, soccer...that was treated like a bowl game there...in Sydney, I think...the vagabond travelers, Hawaii Rainbows, vs the Cal Bears, hungry for a win, anywhere...Cal won...and let's be honest...both teams are not very good...but...Horse likes, er lurves, college football...so I watched a lot of it...

Tried to stomach, at the same time...the AAA Padres...who now are using whatever in their lineup...as they blew a lead to the Marlins...who, are unbelievably, in the race for the wild card in the NL...SD is bad, bad, bad...thank you Trader AJ...imagine if one was bilked for season tix for this organization...maybe, too strong...BTW...a big day for traded away former Pads...as they hit a combined 7 home runs...nice job AJ...

I have not filled you in on Big Brother...seems to me...that it has got to dragging on...they need to quick pace this now...there are some very annoying voices left...ha ha...you KNOW who I'm talking about...if you are a BB follower...

Tragedy...the killing of Dwayne Wade's cousin, who was just walking in the embattled town of Chicago...where there are more killings weekly than we can possibly fathom...and the two nuns killed in Mississippi...where some one was taken in custody for the crime...terrible...there are no other words...

Sure, you have your Prez race...is it not the same stuff everyday?...and...pundits are the same...everyday...saying the same thing...everyday...and there is no more pertinent things that come out of anyone's mouth...right?...boooooring....

You know who Tim Tebow is, right?...terrific collegiate football player from the Florida Gators...who couldn't make it as a pro...is now going to try baseball...hmmm...you KNOW Trader AJ will be at the unveiling of TT in LA...geez...
