Monday Decaf

Top of the morning, to ya"ll...a new week is upon us...and your, er, my, San Diego Prospects are in the final day of the wheelin' and dealin'...yup, August 1st...what?...a new month to boot?...egads, that means the bloody bills, too...OK, that's it...I'm going back to bed...

A looooong day at the golf course in Joisy...and the American won...what?...raise the red, white, and blue flag...jump up and down if you feel like it is about time...USA! USA! USA!...OK, calm down...in the major and highly coveted PGA T...Jimmy Walker held off Jason Day...who is an Aussie, who now lives in Ohio....ha ha...most of them golf pros find their way to some place where they don't have to pay such high taxes for their winnings...what?...we do have some states that fit perfectly...right?...I digress...

The natural bump after the DNC for Hillary is here...she is leading by 7 points in the ABC Poll, released this am...and, I'm sure most of the polls, if not all of them...give it a week...and they will be dead even again...BTW, the Donald is upset that the debates appear to be on NFL Mondays...good point...what will the people watch?...football or the debate?...hey, you can debate that...

We went into the real world yesterday...over to Coronado Island...wait, that is the rich world...alright, it is a beautiful place to walkabout...a destination place for all of you unbeknownst to this area of the country...USA!...stop that...anyway, you have to visit the Hotel Del...where the movie "Some Like It Hot" was shot...well, some parts of it...you know, the flick with Marilyn Monroe starring...you don't even know she is or was, do you...

The Prospects are in the final day of trying to trade away their present catcher...Derek Norris...who has had his bags packed for a couple of weeks now...the last part of the package that Trader AJ has left...I think they (he) they are waiting until the Brewer's more highly coveted catcher, Lucroy, gets moved...and then the dominoes will fall...egads, you don't even know what dominoes are, do you...

Tonight is the reason for the season....the Boz Skaggs Concert...out at Humphreys...the outdoor venue that I have talked about many times before...you don't even know who he is, do ya...OK, I have said that enough...but...you don't...google him...my fave song of his, is actually a cover...off of his Memphis Album...which, you should get...trust Horse..."Rainy Night In Georgia"...written by Tony Jo White in '67...made famous by Brooke Benton...even, by Conway Twitty...you don't even know who he is, do ya....but Boz's is the best...check it out, kids...try iTunes...

Time for some grub...we'll walk down to the GQ for some eggs and such....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
