Southwest Scarelines

The horror of it all...when the power of the skies, falls apart...yup...the leader of the travel in the US of A gets the ultimate "what the hell?"...Southwest Airlines...who knows what the real story is...but for at least a couple of days now...their planes were either grounded or delayed...big time...the company let it out that is was a massive computer glitch...hmmm, some might say that they got hacked...who knows...

Thinking that it was but a one day affair...we were thinking it would be solved by the time we jumped aboard yesterday...us cats were in Vegas...awaiting a quick trip back to SoCal...M had a client thinger upon returning in the afternoon...normal stuff...alas...as we were about an hour away from boarding, the dreaded email came to my phone...flight cancelled..."see the Southwest site for rescheduling"...egads...turns out, most peops from Vegas, using that bloody airlines, were in for the same fate...

I did so....spent an hour getting us aboard the only one out of Vegas, like at 8:45 pm...something smelled to me...like 6 or more flights compressed into one?...hmmm...right...so we talked about it...decided to go rent a Hertz car and drive back to SD...we got back home at 6:30 pm...the flight?...last I saw it was delayed an hour to 10pm...turned out to be the right move...

Our friends, the Martins?...Linds and Jayne...not so lucky...as they were returning to the great state of Orygun...same fate, my faithful readers...talked, er sobbed, their way onto the only flight to the Beav State...and then found that it turned out...CANCELLED!...their story turned to buying tix from another airlines, Alaska...I believe...to Seattle...then rented a car there...and drove to Salem...arrived at 1:30 am...as as she is going to head back to PDX today...what?...another flight!...this time to NY...see her daughter...hope it's not scheduled through Southwest Scarelines...

OK...

The Vegas trip...outside of the return fiasco...was great...border line the best ever...of course, it was hot hot hot...107* most of the time...the pool was fantastico...hey, the food, the drinks, the gambling, the show...Brooks and Dunn, and Reba...terrific...they played about 2 hours...check out their songs on iTunes...

It was a successful wagering 4 days for Horse...go figure...came back with significant more than I went with...$, that is...which we all know, is lucky and hard to do there...the Martins are wonderful travel mates...we have similar likes...outside of their abilities to upgrade everything they do...ha ha...private joke...BTW, hope they didn't burn too much...not like the color of me skin, on this Injun...

Oh my...we do have a difference in opinions in our political field don't we...Horse felt like the Repubs faired real well...little amount of what I feared...unrest in Cleveland...I think Ohio was real well prepared...the Donald emerged without the delegate turnover that many said would happen...politics...call me names, but I thought his acceptance speech was good...of course, I was still on meds from my non-flight...ha ha...and, Yvanka, has a future in the biz...just a hunch...oh my, what was Raffy "Ted" Cruz thinking?...if there were tomatoes in the audience he would have been pelted...bad enough to be booed off stage...he had to have lied to Trump about what he would say...to get a spot on the podium...some dudes will never get it..he, will never, ever, get it...

So much for the euphoria of sweeping the Giants...as SD got the same fate handed to them by the Cardinals...and, the Padre killer, the traded lackluster of a hitter when here...Jed Gyorko...led the onslaught at the plate...wowser...go figure...BTW, all signs are out that yet another of our season starting pitchers is going to be traded...Cashner...for yet, another "prospect"...we lead the league in "prospects"...

Next week the love fest will be upon us...as the Hollywood hotties will meet in Philly to share their love for their candy woman, Hillary...you won't need placards for those who will be in attendance...it's cool...there is a lot of people so wanting her to be the new Prez...well, from the Donkey side of things...there won't be the possible downside that was feared in the Repubs...should go smoothly...and her message should resonate...right?...

Is upon us in the GQ...geez...we have more security her for this than we have for the All Star game...especially in our building...what?...double ID's for our cars...what?...like we have stickers anyway...what?...hey, there are a lot of geeks out there, wearing their giddups...more like a Halloween...ha ha...hmmm, seems very similar to what we saw at Fremont in Vegas, if you KNOW what I mean...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
