Real Stuff

Through all the hysteria of the tragic police killings in Dallas, Texas...the undercurrent was that the assassinations were done by a team of thugs...info out of that city, says no...it was but one deranged former army guy...our army guy...there is no mercy for someone like that...sorry, you people who think otherwise...it is the word of the Horse...

Man, there are people everywhere in the GQ...the pomp and circumstance of the hosted MLB All Star Game has taken over the city...we have this awesome Convention Center, that is housing an ongoing MLB Fair of sorts...many past stars of the game are in attendance...you know, autographs and all....way cool...as we get closer to the actual game...of course, the home run derby day is a biggee...we have tix only for the actual All Star Game...enough for us...the rest we will watch on the pixels...just like most of you...who share our interest...

Got a CD called Cash...Johnny Cash...like, his best hits...and it is good, kids...it really is a fun disc...look it up and give it a whirl...or, is that a twirl?...maybe spin is better...anyway...!...do it...

We are a week away from returning to Vegas...back to the Mirage...our home away from home...ha ha...just love it there...great rooms...great pool...great food...and a great off track area...and sport betting, too...trust Horse...meeting our friends the Martins there...will be GREAT FUN!...

The LPGA...the cream has risen...Lydia Ko...she is just the best in the biz...leading after 3 rounds...she has such a smooth swing...and nobody, nobody, putts better than her right now...figure it is hers to lose...the Open...

I'm just bewildered by the number of killings that are going on throughout the world, i.e. the USA...is it just me, or 20 years ago there wasn't this in the daily news?...I mean, what can be done?...seems like one of the easier solutions is to limit those who can get the rapid fire rifles...doubt if that would stop a terrorist like the killer in Dallas...but others, for sure...there has to be other things...and most congressional types have no answers...I sure don't...

Bums beat us again today...we were lethargic...like normal baseball season malady...unfortunately, we have more days like this, than others in the NL West...right?...

You know I haven't watched a movie forever...certainly not in a movie theatre...one of our closest ones, closed it's doors...we are down to one...just thought you'd be interested....

Say what you want, but the PGA Tour is not the same without Tiger in it...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
