Not so good, was the climax to the US Open for the Ladies, yesterday...that amateur group, our USGA...mucked it up again...what?...eeks, seems similar to the guys...just a month ago...er, was it less than that?...anyway...terrific finish to the event by the vets...Anna Nordqvist and Brittany Lang...ended up tied in regulation...and off they went to a 3 hole playoff...aggregate score...er, you count 'em all...
In OT, the score was tied as the gals were coming down the 3rd and last hole...when it was leaked that when Nordqvist hit her ball out of a fairway bunker on hole no. 2, a video of it showed that her iron caused some sand to move...thus, grounding her club...a no no...2 stroke penalty...the USGA blew it here...
Instead of delaying the event for a minute or two...they let the ladies play on...when, in fact, there was good reason to believe that Lang was ahead by that 2 strokes...which, would have meant that they both would have played the last hole differently...thinking that they are tied instead...the rules people told Anna after she hit her approach shot...and before Brittany hit hers...advantage to Lang...and the win for sure...
Hey, I'm not disputing the rule call...the fans want closer scrutiny to the game...it's the timing of the notification to the players that riles me...well...and that should be a one stroke penalty, too...sometimes, the infractions seem to take away from the game....
There were a lot of people like me that almost 2 years ago...stood in line to get the new iPhone 6...in my case, the plus...of course, the way that goes, we also signed on for another 2 years to get the money savings on it...the plan...well now...Apple knows this...and conveniently, the new iPhone 7 is coming out in September...just when our plan ends...coincidence?...c'mon...yup, Horse will get it...this time the smaller version...

The Repubs are up first on the convention biz...the latest rumor is that the Donald is going to pick a former Army General as his VP...I doubt it...I mean after Sarah, it has to be Newt, right?...Christie is next in line...hey, this all may be mute, if the elephants find a way to derail the Trump train...BTW, that WON'T happen...you have your man, dudes...
And now for fair and impartiality...the Demos...the latest out of their camp...is that the Hilz is going to be joined by Bernie on the campaign trail...oops, did I say trial or trail?...as some won't let the email buzz go...this Sanders thing...is this a sign that SHE may be signing on HE as the VP?...hmmm, now that would intrigue the Horse...sorry kids, but it is true...
My buddy, Snooki, and I have tentatively agreed on a home and home switcheroo (see yesterday's bog)...he would come here for the Titans (Mariota)/Bolts game...and later that week, I'd go there for the Ducks/Stanford game...football, you geeks...November...geez, does it rain there that month?...he says no...never in Autzen Stadium...
Monday smut time...on Big Brother, can you ever see James with the gal he is ogling?...ever?...I think I have been writing this blog for about 10 years...really...and for the life of me, the K Fam is still in the news...even have their own show...how low can a country's entertainment level fall?...now THAT'S something that we can protest about...I digress..
The All Star Game starts at 4:30 tomorrow...I don't know when the gates open...but figure that if we leave here at 2:30 that should be good enough...there has to be lots of security to go through...so we will go naked...er, not take anything, like bags, with us...just some cash and a smile...and a yearn for some brewskis and a dawg....
ADD THIS...as far as the Matador being gored to death by the incapsulated bull in Spain...either the bull dies or the guy dies, right?...hmmm....
