And now...I've seen it all...the Padres won the 2nd game of the series with them Giants...in a fashion that I have never, ever...EVER...seen before...let's talk...after a terrific win over MadBum the nite before...there was not a lot of optimism that we could actually win 2 from San Francisco...seeings we hadn't beat them before that one...ha ha....

Curses to them...as we were beating 'em up...cruising, so to speak, up 5-3...and we pull our starter...well, Mgr Green did...the kid...got thru the 5th unscathed...then trotted out our middle reliever dude for the 6th...I should say dud...Carlos Villanueva...who promptly gave up two home runs...get this, numbers 11 and 12...why he is in the majors, I have NO IDEA...gone is the lead...and gone is the momentum...he gets rocked...

The score stays at 5-5...goes into OT...then, their All Star catcher, Buster Posey, does in fact, bust one over the RF fence...we are doomed, so it would seem...not so fast, ye of no faith...it is Sunday, right?...well, it is today...I digress...Dickerson and Norris single to start the bottom of the 10th...our catcher, Derek Norris STEALS 2nd...which is big...well now, this is getting mighty interesting...

Adam Rosales singles to left...we tie the game up...with runners on 1st and 3rd...hmmm...and this happened...as the SF closer, Santiago Casilla, is about to throw a pitch to our SS Alexei Rameriz...his cleat gets stuck in the ground...and falls off the mound!...BALK!...game is over...what on earth?...whatever...another win...geez, the series win...

The Open...it's almost like a match play T now between Lefty and Stenson...right?...they have distanced themselves from the rest of the field...and took turns being in the driver's seat yesterday...geez, the way they started today was atypical of the match...now Lefty is on top...back and forth they go...

Gots to feel that Mickelson has the edge...as he has many majors under his belt...Henrik is still looking for numero uno...and these blokes are both not young, by golf standards...HS is 39 and PM is like 60...well, mid 40's or so...turn on the pixels and you can watch this...in reality, it is a toss up...pick'em...

I spent a goodly portion of 3+ hours watching a special on DB Cooper...remember this dude?...he was the guy that hijacked a plane...then ransomed off the $ in the process....then jumped from the airliner...wooah...I had no idea of the process involved...

Cool, was the interview of the co-pilot and the stewardess involved in the event...can we call it that?...by involved, I mean that they were saving the plane from being blown up...by assisting the perpetrator...there, that's better...turns out...that the guy that these investigators came up with...was not the guy that the stewardess remembered...took 3+ hours of my time to find this out...boo, History Channel...

Hey...the Repubs start up their convention tomorrow...in Ohio...is there enough police in that state to control what this country deems important...to protest whatever?...guess that's the only way the politicians actually feel the pulse of the public...or what, the Demos want the Repubs to ponder over...don't worry, the feelings will be matched in Philly later on...when the Demos do theirs...
