The NBA Finals

OK, a good many of you could care less about the longitivtiy of the season of the NBA...make that could care...but...you do like the final set of games...the one for the championship...as the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden St Warriors square off tomorrow in game one of the best of seven...got it?...how about this little bit of trivia...one dude started the year with the Cavs and ended up with the Warriors...Anderson Varejao...33 yr old Brazilian...just 6'11"...he gets a ring any which way the games turn out, right?...

Speaking of rings, one of the best sets of commercials...on the pixels...features "no rings" by some NBA blokes for State Farm Insurance...cleverly done...and the baby, PG Lillard of PDX is hilarious...you have to know the ones I'm talking about..."Mama's rings were stolen"...

For all the hoopla about the alternative taxi type service "Uber"...there is a warning to be had...outside of the commotion about physical violence in minute cases...you need to listen and read the fine print...our friends got the monetary surprise in their bill...what?...for you unaware...your price for your ride...is done thru your credit card...no money is exchanged....

Am I losing you?...so when you text online that you need a car...on the app, you see where one, or many are...you buzz 'em and there you go...EXCEPT...there may be a hidden charge...in times of high need, the company may charge an accelerated rate, called "surge pricing"...where the rate may be driven as high as 5 or 6 times the normal...thus...if you would normally pay a $10 fare, your cost would be $50!...so, watch carefully...on the app, it will say that there is high demand, and that inflated rate is in place...I have but one hand to show them my displeasure...er make that one finger...

Oh my, the Padres...got embarrassed yet again in Seattle...the starter, the gopher giver upper king, Shields, gave up 10 runs in less than 3 innings...which led to a 16-4 mauling...lost both games up in the NW, and now have a pair down in SD with the same team...OK, gotta bring out the helmets for the defense again...we are getting worse...so much for the teams that were interested in trading for Shields...dang...

How about them Ducks!...doing great in the College Golf Champ thinger...won the singles event...and now the team is in the finals against  Texas...hmmm...with the Longhorns number one guy probably out with a bum shoulder...wowser...of course, the T is in Eugene...home course advantage?...

Poli-ticks...the latest CNN poll has the Hilz a 2 pt fav over the Donald...hmmm...shoot...she doesn't even have the Demo race locked up....shouldn't she be dominating the states at this time?...if Bernie wins in Cali, I'd be a tad bit scared of the DNC...and...the media is digging up as much as they can on Trump...fact is kids...had nothing to do with politics...which in turn, sways none of his supporters...but, the press keeps a digging...

The PGA dudes head over to Ohio, Jack's place...for the Memorial...hmmm, seems to me that it is a week late, don't you think?...anyway, all the young guns + Lefty, will be there...always, and I mean, always, expect some lightning there....

You see this...the flour company of the US...like "the company"...General Mills...has recalled a gadzilla amount of their product...ecoli...what?...how many bakeries and bread companies have been using it?...hmmm...maybe too late...
