Quake!

Got a message that there was an earthquake around 1ish this past night...centered around Borrego Springs...like an hour and half east from here....had no idea...as we were asleep...many after shocks...of lesser amounts...I think the original was a 5.2...these high rises are built to handle them...so they say...felt all the way from San Diego up to Los Angeles...think that mother nature is warning us of the pending Demo platform?...just kidding, calm down....our friends on the 32nd floor felt it big time...woke them up, as the building was swaying...and THAT is why I like living on the 5th floor...

Huge day for MLB...as the teams did their draft yesterday....of the dudes who will hopefully sign on to the teams that picked 'em...the Padres had 3 of the first 34...the fact, that the management has been bragging about this for some time...SD chose a P from Stanford...who has had TJ surgery...and hasn't pitched for awhile...???...to me, ultra scary pick for a number 8....other than that, our top 4 seemed OK...BTW, the 1st overall pick was an OF HS kid from this area...

You see the brief video of the Biebs getting in a minor tiff in Cleveland after the hoops game?...he's a punk...that needs to be on a short leash in our country...things like this triggers me brain...get him outta here....

Target has replaced our old Fred Meyer...you know the one stop shopping idea...out of Oregon...a couple of years back...when we were back up there...we strolled through the place...like nothing had changed one bit...weird...they say you can never go back...don't know who "they" are...but that's hogwash...anyway, we did all of our buying of food and other items at the Point Loma spot...

Game number 4 in the NBA playoffs is tonight...again in Cleveland...have no idea...as the horrific effort of the Warriors in number 3...leaves them vulnerable...BTW, the Cavs play better without the brittle Love bloke on the floor...right?...not a fan...duh...

The Demos have all their dudes and dudettes lined up to endorse Hilz...have to admit, a tad bit better than many of the Repubs who seem to fight the idea of the Donald...as their zenmaster....ha ha...some say that this will be a landslide...not me...it will be a very close race...trust Horse...wait...just wait for the debates...

You know who Elizabeth Warren is, right?...senator out of the great state of Massachusetts...the DNC lurves her....well, she got an interview with CNN, MSNBC, not Fox, anyway...one of them...I watched it...she lambasted Trump...appeared to be giddy in doing so...and...lots of talk about her being asked to be the VP partner of Ms Clinton...egads, a totally woman ticket?...really, I'm OK with it...just think that Hillary has got to get Bernie involved somewhere...he has a lot of Demo followers...especially the young voters...

OK, this is the Demo time of the pre-campaign...as they just now got their candy person picked....it will even out very shortly...as soon as Trump picks his VP...so many mentions about...who knows where he will go with it...maybe a meeting with the Koch Bros will help him decide...think?...

Staying in the ladies field of play...they have one of their majors...LPGA...up in Seattle...I forget how beautiful the dark green trees are...anyway...watch out for the gal from Thailand...3 straight victories...Ariya Jutanugam...

Pick 6 at Santa Anita...3 hit it for $107,000 each...maybe some day...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
