It's the Hilz

According to NBC News...it is now apparently official...that Hillary Clinton has enough delegates to claim the Demo side of the Prez Race...how did this happen without any states voting?...it's the super delegate thing...there you go...as much as I hate the system, it is what it is...embrace it and move on...but...the people of the Demos should revolt for the next election...VOTE out the super delegate thing...

There are 6 states voting for today, i.e. Cali...how does this affect those who are doing so?...no one knows for sure, but it's exactly what the DNC wants...do some of you feel manipulated?...well now, I think she would have probably won it anyway...but, let's let the PEOPLE decide, not some elite group of unattached Demo deciders...who do what they want, with absolutely no ties to any of the voting peops...OK, I have driven my point home...

Ah voting...how does this phenomena apply to the sports world?...when it comes to all stars in MLB, for one...let me give you a bizarre look at it...it may just contradict what I said above...ha ha...here goes....the fans...have the option to vote in their favorite players for starting at the mid-season All Star game...this year held here in San Diego...what?...yup...

Just so happens that in lieu of but one vote, the fans can vote as often as they choose...on the lines of American Idol...and some cities, er teams, have a better fan base...of voters...take the case of the Chicago Cubs...who are doing extremely well this season...hey, there are a lot of frustrated Cubbies...everywhere!...right, Shink?...they have stuffed the ballot boxes, so to speak...and most of the starters that are leading right now...are from that team...egads...

So...here is the deal...is that fair?...and get this...cuz the players for some time, took the game like a pleasure one, rather than a competitive fray...the czar, er prez, er dictator, er commissioner deemed it more important...tagging the winner of it, to have their league...the American or National, as having the home field advantage for the season ending World Series...what?...all a bunch of hullaballoo...

In both cases I gave you....a microcosm of the real problem...the elite setting the rules of what you can "vote" on...even though...oh, you know where I'm going with this...calm down, Horse...

Staying in beisbol...kind of...the hapless Atlanta Braves are in town...and...the Pads are happy for this...a big 7-2 win...you know, that is 11 straight "W's" against that SE team...really?...we dominate 'em...
