Monday Decaf

Whoa, what was that smash?...the Thunder walloped the suddenly woeful Warriors of Alameda...what in earth just happened?...whupping the Champs like Ali did too most of his opponents...right?...there is a changing of the guard, kids...go back a bit, and you will see that Horse told you this...there will be no repeat...

From the pile of the also rans, came this feller from Spain...one of them guys, not too popular in the USA...for a variety of reasons...Sergio...a one name dude, like Madonna...well, nobody is like her...Garcia...who put together 4 decent rounds in Dallas...waited for the youngins to fall apart...and won in OT...what?...Serg (even briefer) won this T back in 2004...hey, he can still play this game...for you in the fog right now, I'm talking the PGA...and...another horrible finish by the kid who blew the Masters...Jordan Spieth...hmmm, maybe he won't recover...there are doubts and doubters...it's a brutal game...once the negatives take over the mind...

Speaking of OT...the Pads were looking for a sweep of the Bums...nope...went 17 innings to lose it...as we ran out of pitching...and were awful at hitting...geez, Matt Kemp was 0/7...he's "our best"...not...his swings were feeble...now hitting a whopping .222....c'mon brass, do the right thing...bring up the youngster, Hunter Renfroe...like what the Giants and Bums do...live with the youth...off we go to SF...at least we don't see Madbum this time around...

Status Quo...here is my big fear...most of them polls have the two in question, Hilz and the Donald...as the presumptive candy peops from their parties, right?...and...also the polls have the two as the most disliked in the history of polls taken...really?...yup...OK...the fear, Horse, the fear...that people won't vote...likely the lowest ever...so...there has to be something out there to get some positive passion back in the race...do not know what that could be...my fear...

Gotta get going...have the dryer vent blower dude arriving soon...have to take the dawg out...it's a non-stop set of fun things...prior to Vegas...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
