Hoopin' and Hollerin'

Hey now...it's a Wednesday, like May 11...took a day off to go hit the links....and egads, I had a good round...hip hip hooray!...for you in the know, went back to my Nike putter and is was just fine...smiley face inserted here...and...did not get to comment on one of the best Pro Hoop games I have seen in a long time...

You know I warned you about wagering on game 4 of the PDX/GS series...at least on the Blazers...I had this notion that Curry may emerge...which he did...took him a bit to unwind...and my how he did!...Portland started hot at the offset...up 16-2 and breezing...the crowd was delirious!...rightfully so...then, into the game came Steph Curry...the Warriors calmed down...a stabilizing effect...

Still...the Blazers played hard and were up 10 at half...continued their great play...maybe, just maybe, they played their tandem set of guards, Lillard and McCollum, too long...held their lead into the 4th stanza...with each team playing passionate and fun hoops...then...Curry took over...hit his first 3...and HE WAS BACK!...

The game went to OT...where he (CURRY) did what no one else has ever done before...scored 17 points in the 5 min time...and Golden St won the game...goes up 3-1...and heads back down to friendly Alameda...as I alluded, the Blazer guards started to miss their shots in the 4th...probably got tired... I dunno...

Yesterday, Curry got the league's MVP Award...unanimous!...first time ever for the league...hard to believe, cuz the crazy pundits have mysterious voting patterns...not this time...and fittingly, Steph is ruling the NBA World...just ask Portland...

West Virginia and Nebraska did their voting...the Donald won...now unopposed...as he gathers up delegates to wain off the under-current of naysayers of the RNC...BTW, he meets with Paul Ryan this week...stay tuned for the results, ha ha...Bernie won in West Virginny...continues his path...to apparent 2nd place...as the DNC has pretty much locked him out, due to their hold of the Super Delegates...yet, he continues to win states...hmmm...something smells to high heaven...I digress...

Do you really care what happens to Ozzie and his former (?) wife, Sharon?...now, Ozzie and Harriet...I cared about them...you have to have some age to yourself to know what I am talking about...pretty much didn't miss that show..."Hello Mary Lou"...

We are replacing our front room couch...gave ours to our housekeep...and as we were loading it on the truck...which was in fantastic shape, BTW...in his broken English...told me it was his pride and joy...8 yrs old...looked brand new...and that they were poor...lived from check to check...never have I ever felt so good, giving an item to somebody...

Our new one is delivered today...almost takes an act of God to get it up the elevator...scheduling and parking their truck...we have to get down on our hands and knees to beg for mercy...well, almost...I digress...

Nobody cares about my dark side...er, my dark hair...shoot, if that's the case, back it goes to blondie...once the wedding is over...ha ha...maybe I am making more out of this than anyone really cares...ha ha...

The refs blew the end of the OKC/SA game yet again...to give Westbrook a continuation hoop after a foul from 15 feet from the "ring", as Raffy referred to it, was blatantly a blown call...or...did they NOT call the original hold....and call a shot at the "ring?"...you know...the game has changed...the refs are still in the '05 mode...time for some new blood...wonder what the point spread was?...

Is Kelly Ripa as bad as what she appears?...all the informed tabloids say that she is not a nice person...too big for her britches...maybe a complete change would be good for that show...

The Pads are in Chi-town to get beat up by them Cubbie thugs...it's true...got whupped 8-7...and have a double deuce of shellacking scheduled today...maybe, we should wear helmets on the field...to ward off all the rockets  hit our way...you think I'm not pessimistic...can't even watch...

Hmmm...this out of the "yea right" field of media releases...VP Joe Biden, told GMA that he would have been the best president...for this time...hmmm...c'mon Joe...you may have cost Hilz some needed votes...not smart...

The one constant after a round of golf...not the scorecard...not the sticks...not the banter...not the payouts...not the "mercy me" mode...but, the ice, cold beer...for moi, it is the Bud Light...

For you NBA guys and gals...in the post game banter with Charles and Kenny, they had the one and only Dwight Howard with them...and Barkley pretty much grilled "Superman"...have to admit, he seemed like a good guy...much maligned...I think...the big man game is being dropped by many teams now...

Tape Survivor tonight....all the reports say it's a good one...how does Horse always know?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
