Oh my...the Padres have set a MLB record...really...one that has been sacred for way over 100 years...yes, it is true...San Diego has it now...the 1st team ever, EVER, to go scoreless for the 1st 27 innings of a new season...breaking the record of 26...we, are, the, worst, in the history of the game...to start a new season...scored nuttin...zero...zilch...goose egg...nada...nil...blank...zip...shutout...you got that right...albeit, we got screwed in the 5th or 6th inning...as we actually had a bloke try to score...there was a play at the plate that the umpire called us out...replay showed otherwise...our young Mgr protested...it went to the replay booth in NYC...and the call was upheld...geez...wasn't even close...wonder what them dudes were looking at...anyway, the record is preserved...and...we aren't finished yet...off we go to Colorado...to see if we can add on to this miraculous feat...
Bernie has said that Hilz isn't fit for the job of being Prez...ah yes, now we are talking dirt...you think the Repubs have the corner on this?...it's time for the Demos to get into the act...your turn Ms. Clinton...what's the problem with Sanders?...this is just starting to get good...
Idol...I will say that the two top singers are in the finals...although, I did think the country gal should have been number 3...heck, I dunno...tonight is the swan song for the show...15 years...lasted a long time...many of it's past stars are returning for the "goodbye"...Kelly and Carrie, for two...should be a good one...will Simon be there, too?...how about Dunkleman?...I digress...

This is the time of the season for the NBA teams to rest their "stars"...no better example than the of the battle of LA...as the Clips did that with their match with the sorrowful Lake Show...as the subs dominated the purple gang of nobody...and Kobe...right before the playoffs...BTW, the Blazers beat the Thunder last eve...to make it!...I did not predict that this year...good for PDX...
