Rare-ified Air
The Masters...er, the Master...as he caressed a 66 on the first day...already leads the field by 2...what makes this so crazy...is that the last year champ has many duties as the returner for this T...hosts a dinner of past champs...and, well, hosts...and gives thousands of interviews...as there are pundits galore covering this event...who wouldn't want the gig?...
It's a start...there are 3 more days...duh...as Lefty pointed out to any who would listen...but, to start the way that Jordan did, just may pave the way to a blow out...my pix?...Jason Day...was rolling along, one back from Spieth...and then...boom!...choke city on two straight holes...fell 6 back...sounds familiar, boys?...well...there are high winds in the forecast...the game is very tough in that type of weather...
An inversion?...we here in SoCal are getting pelted by the wet stuff...gobs of it...the cast is for 4 or 5 straight days of the rain...I read on Facebook that is was like in the 80's in Orygun...egads, what is happening?...oh well, as they say here so often, "we need the rain"...shoot, they are even calling for SNOW in the NE part of the US of A...
Idol...the final show...was stupendous!...hmmm, is that a word?...so many of the past winners and contestants...returned...and performed...it was so much fun...yes, the original panel of 3 judges did return...Paula, Randy, and Simon...as did Dunkleman...really...there were some real highlights...of course, Carrie, was the star of stars...have to admit that two of the SD gals sang beautifully...a lowlight...ha ha...was the 5 winning guys with guitars...that were stuck with a tribute to David Bowie...actually, it's not fair to comment on the 2 hr 6 min show in one paragraph...find it on Demand and watch it...BTW, the guy won the last Idol...either one would have been worthy...but...it does seem like the guys have won, even though the gals have actually been better...I dunno...
For the horrific news of the day...ISIS captured over 300 workers from a cement factory in Syria...no idea why and where they took them...imagine...here's my take on our upcoming election...elect the candy man or woman that will eradicate the evil of the world...this is got to be our number one concern...so says the Horse...
The Pope has apparently moved into the 21st century....this is big news...as he represents the masses of Catholics throughout the world...says that the church should accept gays and divorced Catholics...how's that sit with many in power in Mississippi?...
Well now...we are pretty much stuck indoors in an outdoors place...me no like a...don't get surly with me...there is an off track just a few blocks away that is calling me name..."Horse, where are you?"...
