Monday Fully Caffeinated

It's the calm before...well, you know...as the entire state of New York braces for the immensely important VOTE!...this will set the stage for the rest of the poli-tick season...will the Donald romp, like the polls suggest?...and, will Hilz do the same in the Demo race?...the final day of reckoning for the orators is upon us...figure the pixels will be filled with it, right?...

So proud of our team in the Pomona Alumni T...tied for 1st!...played again in Chino Hills at Los Serranos CC...the weather was blustery...very warm....but winds up to 40 mph gusts...imagine the type of movement of the approach irons...it was just like that...we all had our moments...it was fun, other than the 2+ hours to get there...and 2+ hours to get back...I am a tired doggie...

Just a day of rest, and then I am off to a group event in Borrego Springs...we are called the Bozos...how applicable, I'd say...Marsh not too happy that I am going, but you know...it's a fun time...terrific pool...and it's the only game in that town...

The Padres lost another series...this time in SD...to the DBacks...listen, this is a pattern that is very disturbing...I suppose if you set your limits real low, you can say that at least we won one...and be happy...geez...

Staying negative...the Blazers got punished by the Clip Joint...never in doubt...fact is, PDX has no answer for Blake Griffin...no Blazer dude can guard him...the only way that Portland can beat them is by running and gunning....and hitting the 3 ball...I thought that Lillard was way off...and thus, no chance for an upset...dang....in fact...I thought the effort by PDX was awful...too strong?...

When our boy is around us, we seem to explore more than we normally do...this time we were out and about in North Park...an area that is adjacent to Balboa Park, on it's east side...beautiful older houses...and established neighborhoods...we went to a few open houses...and, well, it opened our eyes...yet another possible move spot...hmmm...

You confused about Coachella?...out of Indio...that's in the desert...they have two...one for the likes of the young and supposedly famous, you know the K Fam type...thus, I call it Koachella...the other one, is for the country fans...so much better, I'd say...and the one that more real people go to...am I biased?...naw...

OK...this is sooooo trashy...but it's a comment by my fav Dancing With The Stars dancer...no longer in the mix...Cheryl Burke...who bad mouthed one of her partners from a couple of years back...Ian...somebody...who was a jerk on the Apprentice...said she kept asking for the producers to kick 'em off...ha ha...think that happens more than we know...

So...one of the killers of the Manson Family...is up for parole...and is recommended for it...by the board...what you think?...you know what I'm talking about?...the horrific killing of Sharon Tate...I am one that says that it should be a no...

OK...so we have our minds set on possible move sites...yet again...and to quote Jackie Gleason "and away we go!"...not really....but the ball is moving....just a bit....

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
