Just a Smorgie

Many, many moons ago...when we were rolling about in our VW Camper Van...we came about a city where we wanted some simple food...was filling up the gas tank...asked a bloke who was at the service station...he told us right up the street was a nice place..."but, it's just a smorgie"...stuck in our minds forever...

Kind of where my mind is today...just a smorgie...the highlight?...of all the things that I heard or read in the last 2 days...is Raffy, who is getting mauled at the polls, having the audacity to name a VP...what?...and no...this can't be true...he named Carly!...OMG!...who promptly sings a song of unison...can't make this up...this is the most bizarre step that any of the candy men this time around has done...imagine the SNL staff in their meeting this week...

PDX Blazers found a way to beat the depleted Clip Show in LA...as, the obvious is happening...Portland will win and move on to face the Warriors...Lillard was like a trace of himself in the 1st half...he and the rest of the Blazers woke up in the 2nd half...and went on to win the game 5...set themselves up for the clincher in Portland...

Staying in the NBA...I have great delight in watching the Beard get his arse beat...as the Warriors destroyed the Rockets...even without the MVP Curry, GS is a very, very good team...and...should have little problem with PDX...sorry, PNW, but it's true...

The hapless Pads...got swept in SF...got hammered...and now move on to LA, to take some more lumps...this, kids, is a horrific baseball team...makes no diff who is managing...I blame the once thought well of GM...AJ is a joke...got no more space for this topic...today...

The NFL draft...finally...tonite at 5...the SD (?) Chargers pick 3rd...as the first 2 picks are by teams that traded up to take QB's...always a gamble...so...San Diego in reality gets the best pick of the draft...so says Horse...lost of names being bantered...my pick is the DL out of Ohio St, Joey Bosa...can make an impact right now...in reality, there are 4 other equal choices...as long as they don't go off that area, should be just fine...

Dancing Stars...psuedo ones, for sure...how on earth can the gal who is the boxer ever be in the bottom 2 or 3?...she is the best gal dancer for sure...Paige, I am talking...am I right or am I right?...I think that her partner (the pro) isn't liked much in the polls...just a hunch...you don't care about this, do ya...
