Prez Day

Trying to figure out why someone would want to be our Prez of the US...need to share his/her strengths...a date in infamy...really believe that they are ready to push and pull all the strings to make this country prosper...get paid a mere pittance to what they make in real life...you can think of many reasons, right?...along the way take all the mental and emotional abuse from others, that want that same spot...not only for them, but their family...so...they have to be good people, right?...well, at times they don't seem so...

The Prez day is in fact for the honoring of our 1st such a person...George Washington...somehow, Abe Lincoln got into the act...er, is part of the "holiday"...that's what you see, the two of them...I know it's a coming, cuz Macy's runs a huge Prez Day sale...I digress...it's honoring our past...leaders...

Did you see the Pebble Beach T?...wooah...it was Lefty's to lose...which he did...some dude who had not won for 11 years snuck right by Mickelson...made Phil birdie the last 2 holes to go to OT...alas, Lefty missed a makable 5 footer on 18...and Vaughn Taylor won it...hmmm...Lefty has such a big ego, that he overthought way too often, throughout the round...made silly mistakes, that you or I would have made...not a vet Pro...don't feel too bad for him, as he cashes a $756,000 check....

Y-M-C-A!....that was the NBA All Star Game...in a nutshell...a 3 ball fest and a load of uncontested dunks...by both sides...of course, there was no D played...no semblance...so, the competitive part of it...was gone...and frankly, the fun was gone too...disappointing...for sure....

Staying with this special day...one of the pixel stations did a feature on mudslinging by Prez hopefuls in the past...every bit as bad as the Repub fiasco the other eve...some cases worse...if possible...appears that it's not enough to say what "you" are running for...that "you" have to point out all the fallacies of your opponents, too...even more so...me?...I tire of this crass deployment of abilities...

Hey, you know, I haven't talked about the upcoming Pad's season much...because...it looks dismal...with very few kids coming in, and a gaggle of our better ones leaving...it's hard to figure out the rationale for the management...hope I'm wrong...but in our division, the DBacks have made great moves...and the Bums and Giants are well above us...again...so that leaves us and the miserable Rockies battling for 4th...and that is nowhere, man...

I appreciate you stopping in to see what the Horse has on his mind...the next set of sordid Repub debates is later this week...gosh, I am not sure I will watch the debacle...I think I have enough to make my judgment...the more the candy men say, the worse they perform...
