Indicators

Iowa has started it up...with their unique system of voting...the 2016 Prez Elections...using the caucus form of tallying up the votes...hmmm...odd, that the Demos are diff from the Repubs in actual numbers...just adds to the mystery of it...regardless, we have INDICATORS as to the real thing, in lieu of the countless polls that are out there...

The take?...this is a 5 person race...two for the Demos...three for the Repubs...look for the rest of the wannabes to pull out soon...some already have last nite...unfortunately, I let out my bias on Facebook after the Repub count was released...dang, Horse, you are better than that...ha ha...naw...I am NOT fair and balanced...I remember an old amigo from way back, got so mad at me, he befriended me...has not talked since...calm down, it's just my opinion...

The shock?...that Bernie and the Hilz came out of it in a virtual tie...there are a lot of younger people who want a change...and are willing to rally around Sanders...it will be a cry that will drive the Demo race to the wire...good stuff...

Your guy, Rafael (Ted) Cruz surprised all the pollsters...and me...with a convincing win...just as draw dropping was the support of Rubio...who, BTW, made a most bizarre after election speech, for a 3rd place guy, that I have ever seen...like he won or something...relax...it's a long way to go...the Donald?...a distant 2nd...and may be kicking himself for his tiff with Fox's Meghan Kelly...who knows...I think it's the ultra conservatives...

Well, on the all go to New Hampshire for the next INDICATOR!...my, this is fun...right?...just remember, to not get too fired up...too soon...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
