Election Day, Part Deux

Number 2...the 2nd state, making their votes count...as all eyes are on New Hampshire...just what the people will say...done, is the relentless pundit gab about who said this...who said that...and so on...for moi, it's how accurate the polls really are...as the Demos and Repub ones, are saying that it will be a big day for Bern and the Donald...if not, we can say that these polls are worthless...as they say, that's why we play the games...wait...I mean, that's why we vote...

Of course, the important thing for all Demos...is the number of people who actually do...VOTE...should be the mantra for the entire election season...probably more so than anything else...if the common man and woman does so, this will be a very close selection year...if not, it will be the change of the guard, and the Repubs will get their person in...

Since we have been sickly, and have had guests...poor them...I have had little time to write...in my recovery, I will do more...let's talk about the event...the Sooper Bowl...

The 2 best defenses in the NFL...the Broncos D a bit better...there you have it...the winner...actually, completely dominated the MVP of the season...Carolina's QB Newton...he went down like a bad tinker toy...much like all that Denver faced...kudos to the coordinator, Wade Phillips, for yet another great game plan...fuggit about all the aftermath...the bad actors and their pouting...the half time show?...as usual, boring to me...the build up is too much...there you go...

We are in an extreme heat wave...82* yesterday...supposed to last at least 2 weeks...I have to improve, right?...Dayquil/Nyquil...Alka Seltzer...Excedrine...geez...figure I'll be good by Saturday's tee time...ringing in me ears this am..."will someone answer that damn phone?!"...

Shoot, you know we are only a short period of time away from M's birthday gift...a trip to Nashville for a Blake Shelton Concert...amongst other things...c'mon, let's get well...

For you familiar about Torrey Pines...the 2 courses...with much imagination, called the North and the South...ha ha...well now...they are redoing the much easier of the 2 layouts...the North Course...done so by the legend, Tom Weiskopf...to make it as tuff as the South...hmmm...supposed to take 7 months...

Great college hoop game last eve...Duke hosted Louisville...the Blue Devils are not as good as in the past...yet found a way to win...but...my post is more toward LVille...as it's coach, Rick Pitino...is in a mess...BTW, he has had history of things...the latest?...using prostitutes as bait for his recruits...geez, for a number of years...of course, he said he had no idea...right...the school announced a self imposed post season ban...ha ha...his speech was a joke...I hope the NCAA lowers the boom...

Here's another thing...one of my pangs...I call it the Eddie Sutton Rule...the coach gets the school in trouble...there are sanctions placed...the coach exits...without any...starts anew...does it again...exits...unscathed...point is...the NCAA must do the same to the coach...sorry, Rick...but enough is enough...

Time to turn on the pixels and watch the results of the voting process...I find it fascinating...
