Brace Yourselves

If you are part of the establishment...by that, I mean a die in the woods Demo, or a Bible toting Repub, you just may have to BRACE YOURSELVES for a long, tuff, and confusing ride...along the Prez trail throughout these US States...as the New Hampshirites (?) voted strongly for the newbies...the polls WERE RIGHT!...so, at least you had an inkling of what was to come...

Bernie Sanders walloped Hillary...like over 21% mas...I know, you can tell me that is cuz he is from a neighboring state and all....he did a marvelous job of getting the youngsters out to cast a ballot...sure...and then you can say that Madaline Albright called for the peops to come to their senses...encouraging women to vote women...how did that work out?...Bernie got 12 % more of the women vote...kids, we may just have a revolution on our hands...

Donald Trump clearly dominated the Repubs...doubling up the nearest guy...a surprise in Kasich...did NOT see that coming...the last week euphoric winner, Rafael (Ted) Cruz, a distant 3rd...and Jeb (really?) 4th...the debate beaten Rubio 5th...hmmm....is it not time for Christie, Fiarina, and the good doctor, to suspend their operation?...BTW, the Donald's victory speech is far from a polished candy mans...just saying...

Off the candy men and women go to South Carolina...Nevada, too...the beginning of the so-called Bible Belt...I am blown away by the emergence of Bernie...however, these are states that favor Hilz, right?...just have to think that the Repubs will reiterate as many passages that their speech writers can muster up..."praise the lord"...one could have a drinking game counting the references...if one was so inclined...let's see...Nevada is on the 20th...SC a week later...

Hoopdum...did you treat yourself with a dang good match up with the Houston Rockets and the Golden St Warriors?...as usual, the opponent gives it's best shot at GS...which the Texas team did...in the end, it was the steady hand of Seth Curry, who guided the Warriors to yet another W...you HAVE to watch them...even if you are not a hoop junkie...

Out of nowhere, the mighty Ducks of Orygun have found the national stage of the college hoops...geez...I still have no idea what they do...but they are winning at a big clip...rising up to the 2nd tier of the polls...hmmm...there is no respect for the Pac 12...again...

The golf world switches to the most beautiful place...Pebble Beach...where the stars mingle with the Pro's...it takes a bit away from the real golfers, but is very fun to watch...

Hey you, get over the hump...what?...hump day...

 TOMORROW...the frustrating part of the primary system...the Super Delegates...and their power within the process...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
