The Results

Yup, I am (we) are the ones that watched both of the debates...Varsity and JV...let me be the first to tell you, the moderators of the JV one...were great!...the 2nd, were OK...enough of them...how about the candy men and woman...

You KNOW my party affiliation so this may be tainted a bit...but really, I want a strong person from the Repubs as a viable option to our Presidency...really...the format used was much improved...the debaters got to actually talk...about pertinent money things...mostly...

You want to know who I thought won?...not so fast...it's who sounded best to me...and who carried themselves the best...and is what they say doable?...

All of them said they were going to abolish Obamacare...geez...and go back to "free enterprise"...ding ding ding...lobbyists of the health care companies dancing in the streets...a heated exchange on rounding up all the illegals and shipping them back to Mexico...right by the wall that "they" are going to build...BTW, there was only one bloke favoring that...a myriad of flat tax, or near, plans...the notion that the Repubs are truly "the party of the people"...and finally, in honor of Veteran's Day...some (especially the hawkess Carly) would bomb the hell out of everyone...I jest...

And...as some got going a bit...got flustered...threw errant facts all about...and did not appear as the candy man to me...these are the ones I say NO to...wait...most are in that category...who is left?...I liked the demeanor of Rand Paul...Ben was a calming voice...the Donald seemed to be in charge...Rubio and Cruz were all over the board...flustered...Jeb was a bit better...and the rest?...no factor and should save the lobbyists some $ and drop out...

Finally...if you went by most of their statements...you'd a thunk that Hilz was the Prez right now...at least for the past 8 years...egads...

And, the rest of the world...

Dancing With The Stars...high drama...the leader of the pack is Bindi...coupled with Derek...the pair to beat...and...the latest news is that Tamar has dropped out...blood clots...this is after she made a gallant effort to return...still...a great show...

PDX Blazers...dang...the prob?...lack of depth...and it is gonna be an ongoing situation...

I did this yesterday...tied my low round of the year...finished with 11 straight pars...what?...go figure...I think I'm ready for Bad Frogs...

This fantasy football thing that has been on the pixels 24/7...NY has shut it down in their state...not exactly sure what it is...but must be huge, as the amount of commercials is non-stop...

Notre Dame moved into the top 4...hmmm...not a fan of that coach...thus, not a fan of the choice...what?...hey...don't overlook Baylor...which the committee is...

Well...the NFL has taken notice...as when the Raiders played at the Q...there was a whole gaggle of them fans ...here's the deal...the league probably won't let 2 teams in Carson, er LA...and there is a rumor, that the black and silver would base themselves down here in SoCal...hmmm...like in San Diego...really?...

Got my bike fixed...hip hip!

Today is the day to honor our Vet's...thanks to you all....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
