Morning dudes and dudettes....it's a grand am in the GQ...sunny and bright...how'd your Saturday go?...mine?...nice that you asked...went great...played the game of golf...walked the course...hit the bloody ball 90 times...and know now that I am officially into hackdom...I digress...

Watched some splendid college rivalry type games...no better than Stanford and Notre Dame...a last second (literally) FG by the Cardinal for the W...just a wonderful game...thought that the Irish had it won, with a tremendous, clock consuming drive in the 4th Q...throw out that I think that their coach is a jerk, I marveled at the composure of his team...and the same for Stanford's...

USC took it to UCLA for the southern title of the Pac 12...hmmm...they now play the above mentioned Stanford for the overall title...didn't the Trojans just get shellacked by the Ducks?...right...the better teams are in the north...so says me...

SDSU beat Nevada for an undefeated MWC season...lordy, who'd a thunk that?...the Aztec have found a way...and do have a terrific RB...seems like they always do...

The Big 14 provided little surprises...other than Iowa and MSU battle for the crown...as Ohio St is not...just a tad bit uneasy about the selection committee...that they may find a way to get the Buckeyes in the final 4...stay tuned...and your boy, Mike Riley lost again...not bowl eligible...what you think of your hire, Nebraska?...ha ha...

NBA...the Warriors just toyed with the Boogie less Kings...near a joke...sorry Sac, but it's true...PDX whupped the Lake Show...with Kobe on the floor...Lebron hit a floater to win...as Cleve survived...man, they play a lot of games...right?...

Have to admit, that TGiving is not the same when your son is not with you...

Don't you think it's a bit odd that none of the Repub candy men and woman have much to say about the Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado?...just a saying...

This is closing day out at Del Mar...some real good races...and rumor is that some of the East Coast jocks have been flown out for 'em...big purses, dudes...look for Rosario and JVal to be here...

Prior to me writing every day...I read my top 10 sources that are on the web net...it's amazing how similar the headlines are...and the top 5 stories...

One of our many (?) traditions is to get a new Santa for our display...every year...and we will head on out in the next few days to check out the supply...there is a cool Xmas store over by USD...do not go on the weekends...ha ha...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
