Monday Decaf

Morning, kids...just back from my extended weekend...the weather in Palm Desert was wonderful...not too hot, certainly, not too cold...and woah...what do we have here in SD?...blistering winds...and weird, weird patterns...

The news has been of the atrocities in France...so many innocent people killed and injured...reportedly by ISIS...which uses terrorism as their attack ploy...just can't understand the rationale...if they are so strong and mighty, why don't they stand up and fight like a...well, you know...I guess I am labeling this evil people incorrectly...they are ISIL...for losers....

My theory is for the world to unite...incapsulate them...the way they themselves are attacking, they just may do just that...France has already retaliated...the latest is that the mastermind...is in Belgium...so far, has not been apprehended...there are no words other than awful...

One of the curious things to watch for...the Syrian refugees...a lot of talk about some infiltration of the bad guys in the mix...listen to the dialogue on this issue...

Other less important things...

The NFL...sure, just try and figure the league out...Denver was rolling...I repeat rolling...Peyton's stats are dreadful...finally got benched...NE kept their unbeaten streak alive in New Jersey...Tom Terrific is that...last second FG...Seattle continues it's fall from grace...bad O and an over-rated D...yup, that will do it...

UO beat the Cardinal in Palo Alto...for some reason that game is always a nail biter...cost Stanford dearly...will not get to the final 4 with that loss...BTW...had a 2 point conversion fail at the buzzer...the Ducks are sneaky...now at 6-3...and count me as one of them blokes that didn't see that happening...a good thing...

Talk about hype...I am not fan of the sport (?) of cage fighting...Ronda Rousey...kind of been doing all the pixel circuit as a modern day lady gladiator...and gets pummeled this weekend...senseless...and the people talk about concussions in other sports...geez...

Bad Frogs...after a decent 83 on day 1, the best I could do was in the 90's...in fact, yesterday, the medalist in our group was a 94...tuff course...small and hard to read greens...and loads of bunkers, water, and desert...ha ha...probably my last venture for that sort of thing...way too old for the boyz...

Well...dem Padres...they have traded off their 8th inning dude and their closer...hmmm...for the dreaded name of prospects...not sure who takes over the ever important roles of the recently departed...is this considered a building year?...another one?...and the hot rumor is that they are also shopping Kemp and P Ross...egads...stay tuned...

Our friends are in the hood...it'll be a fun time...
