Congressional Shame

Yes, kids...I'm truly back on this site...and much happier...so much more freedom of pix and well, just more, more, more...

I spent the day watching the Hillary Harassment Trial....you CALL it what you want...for greater than 9 hours, she was put through the wringer...by the Repubs...and by some very caustic, arrogant, belligerent people, I must add...who chose to interrogate in such a manner as to give the former Sec of St no respect...in so much, as to treat her like a common criminal in a court of law...which this was not....maybe worse...

I condemn these House of Reps...led by the chair from South Carolina...and the other wannabes...as David Gergen, said after...that he had never been so ashamed of this type of questioning...and hopes he never sees it again....which I totally agree...

It's not that Ms. Clinton may or may not have been at fault...for something...it's the manner that this committee chose to conduct themselves...and show the world the ill ways of some...it hurt the USA...and gave everyone a glimpse at how offensive our system can be...this my friends, is Congressional Shame...

And other...

The Seattle Seahawks are a perfect example of the balance, er parity, in the NFL...play poorly one week, and near flawless the next...as they totally dominated the once proud 49ers...in the Bay Area...if the PNWers didn't have a better O, they would have scored in the 40's...still, it's a W...and...on my FF team...ha ha...that's why I'm interested...

If you can make out the polls that are used for the Repubs ( and Demos) Prez race, you are ahead of me...some use as little as 100 peops as their criteria...imagine...that's the problem with %...it can be very misleading...and who is leading?...some say Carson...I double dog doubt that in reality...

More innuendos that the NFL will not let the Chargers bolt to LA...and there was talk again...that there is a possibility that a new stadium may be built downtown here...east of the Convention Center...fuggit about it...never happen...smoke screen...

BTW, did you happen to notice how many "secret memos" used by our government use Native American slang?...they must figure the enemy has no idea what a "reservation" might be...oh my...no wonder, there is no movement to change DC's football team from the name used, "the Redskins"...didn't they also use "Geronimo" for the attack on Bin Laden?...I could be wrong...it just may be terms of endearment...

Last chance for the Blue Jays to even up the AL series with KC...I'm one that thinks that Toronto is the better team...but it's in the heart land...

The wraparound season of the PGA has begun...don't these blokes ever get a rest?...a month at most...and back at it...not sure how the stress of it all doesn't add up...

The SI Mag listed their pix for the upcoming NBA season...two things jumped out at me...c'mon these are just prognostications by some dude...but...he has the Bulls very high in the East...he must be high...no way...the most over-rated team in the league...and he has the Portland Trailblazers as, get this, DEAD LAST!...like 15th in the west....oh my...no respect...well, CH agrees...

This just in...Lincoln Chafee...dropped out of the race...you have NO IDEA who I am talking about, do you?...he was the bloke on the right in the last (only) Demo debate...who Anderson Cooper grilled....

Tennessee St...right...in Nashville...right...where we just were...had a school shooting yesterday...does this ever stop?...c'mon Congress, do the RIGHT THING!...

A major hurricane is coming up the coast from Mexico...that sounds weird...but, coming north...just may hit us a bit...like, rain?..."Patricia"...shoot, you'd think that they may have called it some NA name...like "Pocahontas "...

Adele has a CD out soon...just released a single from it...and Carrie's new one is out today...got it...not sure if I like it yet...

I must say, that in the aftermath, Hilz held up well...and is clearly the front runner...sorry, Bernie, but it's true...exactly what the Repubs DIDN'T WANT!...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
