Sara Evans

We were in the 3rd row of the SARA EVANS concert out at Sycuan Casino...an absolutely lovely venue...she performed 15 feet in front of us...really...and we had never been that close ever before...like it was our own private event...and...she was wonderful...as Marsh lamented...she is as good as Carrie, or any of the best...way cool personality...and this night could NOT have been better...

One bad thing...the security won't let you take pictures...well, of course, with the advent of all the smart phones...it happens all the time...and the blokes keep pointing at the amateur paps to stop doing so...pictured here is my efforts...she looked better than this pix...duh...

Mike Huckabee...you know him...the ultra conservative candy man for Prez...let his personal feelings out even more...and supports that Kentucky clerk gal...you know, the one that wouldn't marry same sex peops...who now is in jail...and he is going in to meet with her...to show his support...AND...to end his run...nice move, JA...

So I'm watching what I said I wouldn't...the playoffs in golf...as Henrik Stenson is strategically tearing apart the course...and the field...playing with the crowd fav, Rickie...that is in Fowler...and boom!...the machine hits a wrong iron on a par 3 into the lake...blames his caddie (boo!)...and Rickie comes from behind and gets the win...I tell you, if in the mix, he is tuff tuff tuff...

Anyway, I had one eye on the final day out at Del Mar...and the bombs are coming in...so I look at the field like in the 5th and 6th races...figure on a fav trainer of mine, Doug O'Neill...who has a maiden going in the 6th...with the jockey, Super Mario Gutierrez, aboard...this guy brings in the long shots...and the name?...to mimic the Ducks, "Where's The D?"...it's an omen, kids...I go online...and bet $2 bucks across the board...and...BINGO...a winner...pays 71.00  25.20  12.00....it's a good thing...

The pathetic Pads continue their free fall...stumbling along...and make more errors...a daily thing...and give away yet another...this time to the awful Rockies...this is in SD...this season is dead...yet...the fundamentals of the team is terrible...and a major overhaul has to be made...I dunno...

Prior to heading out to Sara...I took a look at the Ohio St Buckeyes...versus V Tech...oh my...they have just gotten even better...they are a beast...we are all playing for 2nd...

Get this...we are back into a heat wave...it was 89* as we headed home last eve...wow...felt like Florida weather yet again...the Hawaii breeze is going to be a mighty grand release...

1st day of school...loved it and then didn't...the enthusiasm is great...especially when I was activities director...planning the 1st assembly was so much fun...the new crew I had...I do miss that...

Our beach condo has now been totally cleaned up...freshly painted...what was broken, fixed...and are putting it up for sale...the Neuman Team goes out and prices it today...and there you go...right on the beach...should go fast...at least, we hope so...you want a 2nd home?...get ahold of me NOW!...Pacific Beach, go online and check it out...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
