A New Day

Rise and shine, my good friends...it's going to be a grand day...trust Horse on this...so what we have is a bit of heat in the hood...it's already 77*...and chance of Tstorms...what?...thank goodness we have AC...just a month back, we didn't...see?...it's a good day already....

Japan's version of the stock market is up...gulp...7.7%...TODAY!...imagine our stock market at the opening bell...we can hope...yesterday was a good one, too...

The Pads....stay positive Horse...won!...beat the worst team in the league...and it took dramatics in the bottom of the 9th...after the closer blew the save in the top of the inning...oops, not so pos...still, a V is always good...any which way we can...

I keep getting asked this Q...who is gonna win in the gal's matchup at the Tennis's version of the US Open?...dang, can't do it...dang...I don't like tennis...I can't stand to watch it on the pixels...can't bear to hear the constant screaming, er grunting, every time they hit the ball...oh yea, I told the questioners, that nobody beats Serena...but, I don't care...Sara said she spent 5 hours watching it prior to her concert...talk about being bored...

PBS is running the Ken Burns show of the "Civil War"...a repeat that has been edited to fit the format of HD, I guess...what a brutal time of history of this country...I still feel that there are parts of the land that have similar feelings of the combatants way back when...am I right or am I right?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
