Morning kids!....I'm back...temporarily...brief respite, prior to hitting road again...the highlights...the flights, there and back, were super...fast...and first class...which always helps...thanks to Alaska Air...

And my host, Snooki, was absolutely the best...chauffeured my arse everywhere...and let me stay in his pad...oh yea, his wife Laurie, great too...the best, Jerry, the best!...

The Reunion...not bad...as so many people were in an area that was at it's limits...around 300...and it's been hot hot hot there...like 104*...really!...I went in and out and it was cooler outside in the...heat...talked to many people that I had not seen, for, well, 50 years...these were very brief conversations, kids...and really...as most of these things are...the ladies dominate...and they do most of the planning...and they are the ones who actually tickled their innards seeing the "old gang"...guys, not so much...

Part of it was a golf thing out at my old course, McNary...eegads, I was pull hooking like the olden times...ha ha...too bad, it wasn't a "scramble"...kind of a nothing format...no T...just play...and that was it...very bizarre...

Did meet up with our good friends the Zbells and Bjarnsens out at another golf course in Salem...Rudys...very fun night...the food?...highly secondary to the laughs...so many old stories...that I seemed to be the butt of....and deserved, I suppose...

We did take a road trip to the Oregon coast...welcome relief to the heat...BUT...it wasn't the only idea of ours...as there were more people there than I have ever seen...we had to hit Mo's...the chowder shop...too crowded...found a new spot that was as good...with the best halibut fish and chips ever...on the Newport Bay...BTW, did stop at the casino along the way, for breakfast...and took over 3 hours to find our way back to Snookis...well over that ...more like 3 1/2...

As far as the booze consumption...we had as many as 7 different types of bourbon...eegads...I need to detox...ha ha...

Stuff...

The Pads are on a very successful road trip...won all the series thus far...withstood the immense amount of conjectures of making many trades...BTW, there were zero of them...and are beating the teams they should be...a trait that they haven't been able to do in the past...promise...

In 2 days the Repubs will put their circus on parade...er, the debate...I predict the most watched show of the summer...and it is absolutely critical for Jeb Bush...if he gets it taken to him by the Donald, he is finished...BTW, Trump will be the target of all them blokes...and if Jeb shines, then he takes over the top spot...iff...we will all watch, listen, and judge...many of my amigos think the Donald has no chance...I am one who thinks he does...

In the Portland Airport, there actually is a Mo's...really...so prior to taking off, I got a frozen chowder base for the homeland...cool, huh...

Memphis is abuzz with their QB dominating their practices...and so much enthusiasm...it's the Titans, kids...and Mariota is getting them a going....very exciting...

You heard of this?...there are these new thermal pint cups that hold their cold and warm like no other...in fact, if you put iced drinks in them, the stay cold longer...and....they leave NO RINGS on the table...really....I used it the entire time in Orygun....called Hydro Flask....check it out...it is amazing!...

More stuff about hunting for pleasure...the backlash of the dude from the middle of the US...sickening stuff to me...what you think?...maybe I'm in the minority...

Fire season is upon us...way scary...as we have a severe lack of water build up...the same up and down the west coast....

Oh yea, the white goatee is now gone...finished...shaved...kaput...MIA...drained...

Had to add this...just read a bit on the Ryder Cup...and who the USA picks as their captain....like the manager of the group...this is golf, kids...and it's us versus Europe...which at one time was dominated by the red, white, and blue...no longer...and some have been blaming the losses on the captain...hmmm...the Euros seem to brag about their solidarity...and the fun they have...as compared to the serious singular blokes that we have...reading into all of this, the ever effervescent John Daly has popped off...he wants to be the boss...he'll bring fun and joy to the Americans...hmmm...what you think?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
