It's Fair Time!...all over the country...as it marks the end of the summer...and the beginning of school...for so many of us...and it also means...in the state of Iowa, that it's that time for the Prez elections...ah yes...the epic battle scene of the candy men and women, running amok with the "common man"...showing how real they actually are...right...

Yesterday, there was a near bang between the Donald and Hillary...as they were tripping through the sod and dust of the Hawkeye state...ah yes, this is what us bloggers just love...the glad handers searching for the votes...isn't this is where the Bachelor is from?...well, one of them...

Up in Wisconsin, it is the PGA...and my choice has gone up by 2 after the 3rd round....Jason Day...one of my others, Jordan Spieth, had a monster back 9...and is with Day in the final group...just 2 back...I must say...the CBS version of the telecast was turrible...so many segments of talk...Jim Nantz must lurve hearing his voice...TBS did the 1st two rounds and was far superior...show the golf, you blokes...really it is wide open...there are plenty of dudes close, in case the two J's think that this is a match event...

I don't know where I saw this...but it was a map of the US before it was....what?...and it listed the Native's Tribes that laid claim to all the areas...it was way cool...the one thing that really grabbed me...if true...was how big the Apache nation was...

Another plane missing in Indonesia...oh my...must be the worst pilots, planes, or radar in that area...or a combo thereof...do NOT fly there...

As we near the playoffs in MLB, the two teams that are peaking at the right time...are both from New York City...well close by...what?...the Yankees and the Mets...who'd a thunk?...the pundits, sure not...I'm not saying they are going to get there...they are working their way there....

How about them Pads...despite another awful day of baseball blundering....errors on D, and on the base paths...and still found a way to beat the Rockie's closer...and with help from our old catcher, Nick Hundley...who did his own version of missing a target at 1st...it all worked out for us...except...an awful event in the dugout...as Justin Upton...fresh from getting picked off 2nd...as the tying run...went ballistic...threw his helmet...awkwardly...and it slammed into the cabeza of 1b Alonso...he went down...and it was a mess...can't wait for the talk today on the incident...

77* right now...and we are in a heat wave...lordy, we were here for 3 years before it even rained...and now we have...gulp...humidity...should reach into the high 80's on the beach...100* inland...and no, I'm still not golfing...

Hey, I know I gave the Bolts move a for sure...but...there are grumblings about...that the NFL will only let one team move to LA...and that Carson is a disaster area...hmmm...that the old Hollywood Park has already started it's stadium groundbreaking...and the rumor is that the Rams are for sure coming back to LaLa land...I dunno...maybe it's just a smoke screen to keep the San Diegans going to the Chargers games in the interim...

Oh yea...get this...the Bolts signed QB Phillip Rivers for another 4 years...wait, that would make him 50...and another three kids...I think he has seven...and yes, from the same wife, you NBA dudes....

Big Brother aficionados...just watched the replay of Thursday's double elimination...not sure, but I think the inmates are running the asylum...

Here's the deal for being in the Turf Club...sport coat...no jeans...shirt must be buttoned at the top...and no tennies or flip flops...WTF?...this is the races!...who do you think you are?...should be...open shirt, hairs exposed, flip flops, cigars OK, shorts...and the ladies?...anything goes...even going commando...Houston, we have a problem here...

Am I wrong about this?...too many people post pictures of food on Facebook...I'd rather see their face full of the grub in their mouths...make that mouth...just a saying...

I thought that the heir apparent to MLK just had to be Julian Bond...who spoke so eloquently...anyway, he died yesterday...at 75, I think...a good one...RIP...

Taylor Swift continues her tour...what ladies joined her onstage last eve?...Joan Baez and Julia Roberts...she keeps getting bigger and bigger...and is here in 2 weeks...had the option to get tix...on the floor...and M says no...they were a bit spendy...no more than any ticket in Vegas...we'll find a way to hear her....maybe from the Mackles from the 32nd floor?...I dunno...

Why would anyone die their hair pink or blue?...unless you are in the production of "Grease" there is no sane reason for it...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
