The Boz
Morning all you out there on the web net, or, if you have the blog sent right to your email, hello to you, too! Still awakening to cloudy mornings...what?...and the mild weather continues...here in Diego Land...
We have, what it seems, to be our yearly Boz fix...this time out at Humphreys...with the cool temp, will need a sweater or jacket...for you who don't know...Boz Skaggs...puts on a Vegas type show...and is as cool as the temp...probably take an Uber out early...have appetizers and a cold one at the bar...and then try to slink onto the water wall seats, like early...not sure about where our normal ones are...
Curious case of the Center of the Clip Joint...DeAndre Jordan...it is his time to test the free agency market...does so...and does a promise to sign with the Dallas Mavs...you know, the team that is owned by the TV Show guy, Mark Cuban...Shark Tank...anyway, Jordan had until today to sign the papers and make it official...guess what?...the Clips sent a whole gaggle of peops to stop him...and actually barricaded his place....to talk him back to LA...successfully....and he is now...a Clip again...and don't you know Cuban is pissed...stay tuned today all over the sports wires for rebuttals...
Oh my....the Pads...blew another...and are wallowing...my good friends...got swept at Pitt as they played as poorly as they have all season...and get this...have the same exact record as last year at this time...with a perfectly awful team...what does that make this one?...yup...just maybe, the "brilliance" of the new GM Preller, is far from that...I have to tell you...it is tough to watch...you know they are going to screw up...and it will happen....
I was sailing along at even par thru 4...and then hit my drive in to the lake...dang...it was a decent shot...and went db db....and had chances throughout my round for decent scores...missed three birdies that hit the hole and wouldn't go...pretty much like that all the rest of the round....if I could have hit the putts...iff....86 and limped in...gosh, I easily could have had 4 birdies...only got one...
You following the China market?...the people have the money in it...not so much the biz...and they are panicking and drawing their $ out...which is causing such a stir around the rest of the stock market world....
BTW...computer glitches at United Airlines and the US Stock market...actually shut down both yesterday for awhile...something is going on and raises big concerns...hackers?...and not just my golf, kids...
The leader in the club house in the latest Repub polls?...none other than the Donald...eegads...I watched the interview with him by the gal from CNN (?)...his talk was borderline bullying to her...really...very uncomfortable...I don't like him or trust him...which probably means he will win that side...and polarize this nation even more...something smells....
Trademark ruling on the "Redskins"...a Fed Judge upheld a ruling to cancel 6 trademarks that the NFL team had in place...a win for the Natives...and the owner, Snyder, is rebuffed yet again...still, the league goes right along with him and supports the offensive name...what a pile...
Comic Con is in full force...there are peops all over the place...and so many just love this time...I don't get it...all this for comic books and their characters?...lines and lines of people....even the one and only Conan, is broadcasting his show from here...BTW, who watches him?...
