The Afternoon

It's the afternoon...just got back from playing golf out at Steele Canyon...gorgeous layout...3 nine holes...and tucked away between canyons, older homes, and brand new ones...the topography is great...and it is on the hard side...87...with a few balls left on the course...ha ha...the price was right...$44 for seniors, which includes a riding cart...no GPS though...

There is a futures event out at Sycuan and closed the place up for us members....boo...

OK, still booing...the unfundamental play of the Pads in their loss to Pitt...failure to bunt over dudes in the latter parts of the game...and failure to pitch around the Buc's power guys...all and all, more of the same crap that leads us to the bottom...used to be, you'd hear some crazy excuses for the inept game play...now, it's just what we do....accept it...not!...

The All Star game...MLB...the ridiculous notion that the winner get's the league champ the home court advantage in the World Series...some brain dead commissioner came up with that rule...and it stands...then...the public votes for the starters...and eegads....the KC Royals stuffed the ballot boxes...here's the solution...take the blokes who are voted in...and the ones that the manager picks...and he names the starters from the lot...makes sense to me...anyway, we got one...LF Justin Upton...as a reserve...we have to have one...as all teams must be represented...

For the highly interesting K Fam report...Kourt is dumping her BF...cheating...ha ha...what?...and leave that family?...such a beautiful and smart group of people...and yes...Khloe is dating the Beard...wait, isn't she still married?...and the young one keeps getting more and more botox...ah yes, this is Camelot...LA style...

Still staying in smut...the Bachelorette...the biggest waste of pixel time in the history of the show...the present one is ruining the run of actual fun moments of TV...as she just may be not what the producers thought she was...duh...don't watch...

OK, I am lost in True Detective...it's too far out there even for me....and I can't stand the fact that I am passing my fav, Rachel...just don't get it...

Getting one more Sonos Play 1 for the patio...yes kids, we actually have two...and then the Cox guy comes out to fix my DVR...it's a fun filled afternoon...

Comic-Con starts up tomorrow...and it gets crazy in the GQ...people dress up and it's an eyeful of costumes...we will find an outside bar and have one or two beverages....and watch the crazies parade about....

Have you asked about my Fantasy BB team?...3rd and 2 and 1/2 out of first...the rapid climb of my group...it's been a year since I have won...a season win...I think I will pull it out...

Now, I have to convince M that today would be a great day for a happy hour...whatever that means...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
