One Inning

If the Pads could play all 9 innings as they did the final ONE last eve...well we would be talking about a whole different club, wouldn't we...as they scored 3...with a dramatic dinger by Solarte...two out job...and then the closer Kimbrel, came in and struck out the lot...to beat up the six game losing streak..and start a winning one....wishful thinking...

Bend me, shape me, anyway you want me...you see...in baseball, there are loads of gimmicks that they use to get the patrons out to games...and...in the bigs, they are set a year in advance...like giving out caps, towels, jerseys, bobble heads, and the like...in the minors, the franchises can fly by the seat of their pants...so to speak...

The single A affiliate of the Pads...the Lake Elsinore Storm...came up with one...the first 1,000 thru the gates, got a free, unlicked, Wolfee donut...and there were going to be contests...donut tosses and the like...and if you wore red, white, and blue...or...you donated anything Arayana Grande...CD, T shirt...whatever...you got into the park for free...ha ha...

You think that Jordan Spieth isn't the real deal?...shot a 61...with a birdie-eagle-birdie finish to get to 17 under...and his prep for the British Open is almost complete....he has the "it" factor that only Tiger has had in the past 20 years...and he's 21...this is at the John Deere...I suppose you can figure out the items that are all over the course...

The Races open up at Del Mar this week...first day is Thursday...we are going on Friday with the Maduzas...way cool...I'll get the Racing Form on Thursday and study the heck out of it...it's what I do...it is called handicapping...no play on words, kids...

First time we have gone to BevMo...not bad...discounted prices on booze...really...and I found a bottle of Beam...and there were wines for a nickle...you buy the 1st for regular price and the 2nd bottle is 5 cents...and they have loads of choices...you should give it a go...

I can't even come close to describing the participation of folks for Comic Con...like last night when I took Sam out...like 9ish...there were people waiting about for some "stars" to appear...crowds still meandering everywhere...food trucks, with people lined up...yup, that late...most are dressed like some cartoon character...weird...

I think that Stacey Lewis is a fine golfer...BUT...she has to pick up the pace...her methodical way of play...er, she is way slow...becomes very boring...LPGA...

I don't know why, but I got caught watching the movie, "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"...and I liked it...crazy stuff...George Clooney was great in it...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
