Hey now...the weekend is upon us...and...here we go...it's our day to get out and take a look at the crowds of Comic Con dresser uppers...BTW...it is verboten to rent out on a weekend basis to the attendees in our condo....YET...there are a whole gaggle of them, running around this place....SOMEBODY is breaking the rules...

The Boz...simply marvelous...sang for about 2 hours...and hit most of his older stuff...and did some of his new things from his recently released CD...all good...and have to take a listen to it...the crowd had a great time, kids...

It's a difficult time for the brass of the Pads...the system in place is NOT WORKING!...so there just may be a trade situation on the horizon...that's what they are leaking...hmmm...so do they sell off the vets for promising rookies?...not so sure what the theory is...will just wait and see...

Sonos...had a long conversation with the support group...well, one of 'em...and he guided me into the setup...on my computer....that drives the system....at least it will tell me what's what...and here's the deal...my TV is not producing to the Sonos the Dolby 5.1 that it is supposed to....so I have to have my installer back over to figure the damn thing out...if I just play music from the Sonos itself, it hums like a charm...this is Daffy Duck to me...speaking of Comic Con...

South Carolina brought down the Confederate Flag this am...to cheers of those in attendance...you KNOW there are others that are infuriated....I am one, that can understand, that it doesn't necessarily just represent bigotry...but the history of those who died for the South...gave their lives...I get it...

We took Lyft out to Humphreys....and the drivers are not crazy about the traffic around here during this CC...and...very few of the blokes take the ride...appear to be of the cheap variety...not sure if this is an accurate portrayal...but these guys are walking everywhere...impossible parking situation...

We head right back out there next week...for the Happy Together Tour...a bunch of groups from that era...always a very, very fun time...BTW, Bill Walton was there again...brings in his own big chair and sits on the edge...he is a staple for SD...and joined a bunch of us right in front of the stage for the final set...way cool...

Do you do this?...cleaned out my closet...if I haven't worn it in the last couple of months it is gone to the Goodwill...and I can see what I have...especially here...as there is no change of seasons...just warm and a bit warmer, I suppose...

I do NOT follow tennis...guys or gals...not my bag...but, it does seem that in the ladies side of things, Serena Williams is in a world of her own...at Wimbledon...and everywhere else...

Enes Kantner?...OMG!...another big for the Blazers...what?...is there a brain in the policy making part of the PDXers?...oh my...maybe they are going to a 1-1-3 zone...with one PG and 4 centers clogging the middle...should get every rebound...go ahead and huck it up....we got the boards....ha ha....

NYC is honoring the Ladies Soccer Team...ticker tape parade...now this is way cool...and very deserving...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
