The country is on alert as there has been threats...always...there are always threats...this is what these people do...as the current, er past, leader of the group got taken out yesterday...it's a necessary evil thing we do...
BTW, the group that sang "Only In America", was none other than Jay and the Americans...thought that would be apropos....of course you KNEW that...oldie but a goodie...
Because we live on the bay....block away...there are always fireworks set off....throughout the year...unknown reasons...but the one on the 4th is a doozy...remember my story of a few years back...when the powers to be accidentally set the whole thing off at once?...loudest boom I've ever heard...lucky no one was hurt...other than the pride of the guys...
Don't ever wager on baseball...the Pads got game numero uno in Saint Looey...in OT...as Will "the Thrill" Venable hit a one pitch, two run dinger...and that was it...this will sound funny...but the Cards lead the league...but I don't get it...their lineup is just so so...there are others much stronger...the Bums for one...
LaMarcus Aldridge...the PDX star NBA'er...who is opting out of Portland...apparently...and his the prize catch this off season...not so fast, my friends...he has size...can get his own shot...kind of...BUT...he shies away from contact like no other...plays very little D...and just try to see him finish off a game...and that was for the Blazers, who viewed him as their go to guy...sort of...if...and I mean if...he lands with Pop at SA, he will be in for a rude awakening...he'll have to bang and play D...be very surprised if he goes there....a better fit for his mentality is in Phoenix or LA...or even...BACK with PDX...stay tuned...
The Carson Chargers got a real bolt yesterday...the star, and I do mean star, TE...Antonio Gates...was hit with a 4 game suspension for PED's...hmmm...just look at these bodies these football blokes have...figure it's rampant...
