July 4th

Happy 4th of July weekend!...am golfing in the am tomorrow, so will do my two day thinger now...and then have two parties to go celebrate...er, watch the fireworks...and eat and drink...

The country is on alert as there has been threats...always...there are always threats...this is what these people do...as the current, er past, leader of the group got taken out yesterday...it's a necessary evil thing we do...

BTW, the group that sang "Only In America", was none other than Jay and the Americans...thought that would be apropos....of course you KNEW that...oldie but a goodie...

Because we live on the bay....block away...there are always fireworks set off....throughout the year...unknown reasons...but the one on the 4th is a doozy...remember my story of a few years back...when the powers to be accidentally set the whole thing off at once?...loudest boom I've ever heard...lucky no one was hurt...other than the pride of the guys...

Don't ever wager on baseball...the Pads got game numero uno in Saint Looey...in OT...as Will "the Thrill" Venable hit a one pitch, two run dinger...and that was it...this will sound funny...but the Cards lead the league...but I don't get it...their lineup is just so so...there are others much stronger...the Bums for one...

LaMarcus Aldridge...the PDX star NBA'er...who is opting out of Portland...apparently...and his the prize catch this off season...not so fast, my friends...he has size...can get his own shot...kind of...BUT...he shies away from contact like no other...plays very little D...and just try to see him finish off a game...and that was for the Blazers, who viewed him as their go to guy...sort of...if...and I mean if...he lands with Pop at SA, he will be in for a rude awakening...he'll have to bang and play D...be very surprised if he goes there....a better fit for his mentality is in Phoenix or LA...or even...BACK with PDX...stay tuned...

The Carson Chargers got a real bolt yesterday...the star, and I do mean star, TE...Antonio Gates...was hit with a 4 game suspension for PED's...hmmm...just look at these bodies these football blokes have...figure it's rampant...

Wooah...what was that?...Tiger shot a 4 under!...and you should hear the pundits...easy course...any of the pros could do it...blah blah blah...it will come that Woods will get back...he's got too much in his system...it's just when...maybe this week...

The gals in the World Cup...yes...I am interested...and it is fun to watch...and I do plan on it...funny how the peops are not talking about the aggressive life of Hope Solo...as she is a ferocious goalie...am I right or am I right?...has she even given up a goal?...at least in the last 3 games...that I have watched...USA!...

Back to PDX...Ed Jones?...what?...he was just so so for the awful Lake Show...and one of them Plumlees...very good college players...but pros?...not so much...and leaves the Blazers with a stockpile of average big guys...a sinking ship, my friends...

Hillary has raised over $45 million for her primary campaign...what?...she just enlisted two of the starters of the Wizards...just joking, kids...but yes, she has raised that sum thus far...her sights are set for $2.5 billion...that's the rumor...it costs a lot for that $400,000 a year job...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
