Give Me A Break

Sure, you have just made the major moves of the decade with your team...the unraveling of the Blazers up in Portland...which that entire state thrives on...it's the, make that, THE sporting event!...and it's the product that all are attached to...I'm not kidding...

The rivals are the Duck and Beaver collegiate football teams...an occasional soccer aficionado, and there you have it...it's the hot topic...and now...unable to keep their star player LaMarcus Aldridge in tow...they have scrambled to put together a bunch of no name dudes to represent...

And to my total surprise, the Coach Terry Stotts, finally let out his feelings about the defensive strategy that he uses...he must be getting heat from other sources than the Horse...ha ha...and says he'll continue to have his bigs sag off high pick and roll screens...oh my...which leaves the helpless guards and forwards to try to either get over the top or go under the screens...and allow the best shooters in the NBA, a free shot from the outside...which my good friends, is the mantra of the league now...GIVE ME A BREAK!...will always lose, and well, the players must be up in arms...have to be...just watch the good teams...ie, even the very good college teams...they all hedge and recover...shoot, we did it when I used to coach in high school...it's a dream world for the offense...

The Open...what a fantastic finish for the other Johnson, Zach...what ever happened to the 1/2 time leader, Dustin?...no mention of him on the final day...speaking of Day, Jason...he is but a shot away from being the "it guy"...apparently has cured his head thinger...did you say choke?...Spieth?...what the h?...hardly...he had his moments and chances...and is emerging as the heir to the throne as the best in the biz...supplanting Tiger...who needs to take some time to clear up his head...all in all, a very good show...put a wedge in Zach's hand and you have the outright winner every time...

Talk about uprisings...the state of Iowa's Repubs...as they are fixated on the 1st one to get the campaign going...and the remarks of the Donald have them a buzzing...and there are those who have asked for Trump to bow out, NOW!...ha ha...fuggit about it...this guy is going to strut his stuff right through it all...the debates are going to be so much fun...can hardly wait...this is why I write what I do...or when I do...

Hmmm...the Pads just got their 5th win in a row...did someone say streaking?...got numero uno versus the Giants...Matt Kemp kept his hitting a blaze, a 2 run dinger...and the much maligned 2B Gyorko, had a crucial SF...and the pitchers did their thing...there you go...as we are all thinking that this is what we were waiting for...optimism....

You want your smut for the day?...here it is...Blake and Miranda are splitting the sheets...what?...it's been 4 years and 3 albums...that's about right...great fodder for some country songs for each of them...hey listen, the pretty and rich people have an extremely hard time staying together...too many opps come their way...

I am getting my final hair cut for the Reunion...as Marsh says, I must look good for all the old people...blasphemy!...and other pertinent wording...

It's been years...I mean years...since I have written a novel...and have begun...bear with me...it takes about half a year....and the premise seems solid...and I have already got lost in it...

Looks like a Thursday back to the Races...hmmm...I'll get the form on Wednesday and a start a studying...it's a busy next two weeks...Senior Day...there you go again...free admission and free seat...the only problem, you have to sit with all the old people...but, at least, my hair will look good...
