Here's my take on the latest rash of police incidents...seems to me like it's been happening all over the US of A...right?...of course, the Texas pool party is on the minds of all...as the policeman pulled a gun...which is the biggest scare of many...

The phone video capability...now, you can get instant feedback to situations...some positive and some negative...and in this case...the showing of a cop losing control...don't get me wrong...it is a very difficult job...many times the officers get tested...and to the needs of us all...composure...

To protect themselves, there is a movement to have mandatory video cameras on their caps...and is in place throughout the country...there are a few guys or gals who lose it...and need to be censored or fired...just hope it's not racially based...

Paparazzi...these blokes make a living taking pix...just more of the instant feedback system in place...if you're famous, you are in the eye of the lens...and it gets deeper...if you are a cop, you are in the sight of all, too...but now, it's not just the paps...everyone has 'em...

Other stuff...

I have mentioned this before...but there needs to be screens set up, down each baseline in baseball...these shattered bats are lethal...just a matter of time before this is done...common sense...

The Pads getting a huge win in OT...the main guys?...the former Braves...the Upton Bros and the closer Kimbrel...nice start to game 1...that's 5 of 6 wins...hmmm...

Do not wager against the Cavs in their home opener vs the Warriors...unless, the GS brass gets their act together...right now, the coaching is the diff...sorry Bay Area, but it's the truth...

Foul weather...we have clouds and maybe even TStorms...well, the weather peops love to forecast this...even though, we rarely get 'em...

MLB Draft...we didn't pick until number 51...and got a P from Florida...high schooler...sure seems like a lot of kids from that state were chosen early...
