Sunday Silence

Am re-watching the fantastic series on CNN...The Sixties...it's a many parter that takes you back into time...you MUST SEE it...talks about stuff that I sort of knew...but was in my high school and college days...and I can't be expected to remember all of that...right?...I was not a toter...and certainly not like Slick Willy...but the decade was full of civil rights, women's rights, worker's rights, and gay rights...amazing...


Isn't that a name for a horse?...I think so...anyway, American Pharaoh, pulled it off...as the 1st winner of the Triple Crown in the modern era...decisively...from the get go...with a 2nd best time ever on the long Belmont course...gosh, it was fun to watch...and the New Yorkers were great hosts and fans...did go off at 3-5...and the 3rd place finisher was the only one I didn't have in my key...figures...did have it across the board...but whoppee, it only paid $4.30...ha ha...

It's been a long time for Tiger to play as bad as he is now...in fact, shot his worst round ever...an 85...at the Memorial...where he has won 5 times...imagine what he is going through...I've been saying this for a goodly 3 years now...he can't handle being average...and that's what he is...at best...now...Justin Rose is strolling thru the park...15 under...

This blogger told you that Matt Kemp will be popping out of his season long power struggles this weekend...hmmm...call me Carnack...as he had a HR, 2b, and a single...hit for 5 rbi's...and had his best day as a Pad...in their thrilling come from behind win in Cincy...9-7...down 6-1 early on...and had another highlight as Alonso had a grand salammy...the sweet smell of a victory...

Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs today...and the odds grow longer for the Cavs...as their PG Irving went under the knife for a torn kneecap...and is out for 6 months....and the Cleve Coach actually fingered the defender Thompson as the "reason"...he is pointing the wrong way...with a tender knee, he has been over-playing the kid...anyway, DON'T UNDERESTIMATE the strength, skills, and abilities of the best player in the game, King LeBron...don't be shocked if they find a way...never, ever bet on the NBA...

Aloha flick has had some grumblings...seeings that the portrayal of one of it's main characters was supposed to be of Asian descent...Ng...and it was not...hmmm...the movie worked for me...

Don't get me wrong...but I could care less about Caitlyn...let that life live on...without all the K Fam scrutiny...shoot, let that whole family be hidden...just try to find any news source, magazine, or pixels show that DOESN'T have them featured...enough already...please?...

SD goes for a sweep this am...Odie on the mound...my key is win 2 of 3...and keep that up and you'll be in the playoffs...10:10 start...and then it's off to Hotlanta...keep right on a hitting, kids...

I'm thinking a hot cake Sunday...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
