The latest news about the Bolts...the team was always pulling the wool over the SD Mayor...that the team was just buying time to find a place to in fact, bolt...the Chargers are trying to find a way to keep their fans for the last season out at Qualcom...before they exit up north to Carson...my friends, for those of you who want to keep the faith going, fuggit about it...these owners want to leave...

The Trib decided it was time to grade the Padres...A-F...at the trimester...and with a 27-28 record, you can just imagine the below average marks that they gave out...really did a number on Matt Kemp (D)...lack of HR production (1)...I would rank him higher...great attitude...plays his heart out in the field...his hitting will come...and the other bomb, Jed Gyorko (D)...no redeeming values...which has continued from a very bad last season...the previous GM paid this bloke way too much...and we have guys better than him...much better....finally, Buddy got a C...about right...

It took OT for the Warriors to get the W at home in game one...LeBron shot 38 times!...oh my...but the real deal, is that Irving will be out...and will give a June gloom to the Cavs...if out, GS in 5...

The Triple Crown...tomorrow in NY...the one race that causes probs for the leading hoss....it's the long one...and I have a sneaky feeling that the long shot to watch is the one that Joel Rosario is on...still...I think, barring any injury, that American Pharaoh will win...at 3-5 odds for the win...watch the board, it may pay more for the place tix...

The Pads are in Cincy...an underperforming team thus far...we need some hits...and will this be the weekend that Kemp busts out?...just maybe...I have this feeling...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
