Monday Decaf

One of our great joys...boogie boarding in Cocoa Beach...Florida...for those of you who are not aware  of this...it's riding the ocean waves in on a styrofoam board...much like the real surfer dudes do, except they are standing up...we are lying on our bellies...the name should be belly boarding..

And, one of my keys, is to always be in the middle of a lot of people...not on the edges...and never in the early morning or in the late afternoon...prime time for these critters in these warm waters to feast a bit...well now...

Things have changed...the critters, er, the SHARKS, are becoming much more aggressive and are coming closer to shore...in the past few months there have been many attacks noted...yesterday, there were two in North Carolina...and like the 40 year old movie warned us...they are out there...in SHALLOW water...

NBA...did you like the game?...of course you did if you are a GS fan...the Warriors stayed small...did not even play their 7 ft center, Bogut, at all!...weird...doubled LeBron often...and got better shots...and won...Cleveland?...countered with a small lineup, too...sat their big, Mozgov...who was coming off a 28 pt game...played right into the Warriors hands...and the 4th Q offense was deplorable...James dribbling...backing down his defender...shooting fadeaways...or driving...or whatever...and the other 4 blokes standing and waiting...one on the world...if this was the coach's decision, it was a nightmare...if LeBron did this by himself...it was a nightmare, too...GS 3-2...

The Pads...had our chances...and seemed to wrap it up in the bottom of the 9th or 10th, I can't recall...when our stud Upton, hit a massive blast to deep CF...with a bloke on 3rd...their young rookie, Peterson, made a career catch...back to the plate...ala Willie Mays...and collided with the fence and went down like a tinker toy...held on...and then later on...the Bums got to the same reliever as Friday...Thayer...and beat us...BTW, Thayer was terrible...walked the bases loaded...and Buddy left him out there...Buddy Ball...not a fan...we have to win games like these, to become contenders...

LPGA...the best putter in the world...male or female...I've told you this for three seasons...Inbee Park...won her 3rd straight...Major...decidedly...you chauvinists...have to take a look at her approach to the art of putting...she is amazing...perfect T-E-M-P-O...

Just where are the 2 escapees?...it's been a long time of being on the loose...and yes, there was help by a prison worker...allegedly...she pleaded not guilty to the charges...and these guys are on the run...where is Geraldo?...doesn't he cover these things?...

Graduation time...it's the pride days of the school year...at all levels...and one of the more bizarre things that go on...in the ceremony...is inviting some dude or dudette, to speak to the graduates...give their take on the "rest of their lives"...and there have been lots of good ones, I'm sure...but most are boring and take up a lot of time...get rid of it...have the Principal speak...have the Valedictorian speak...and hand out the diplomas...so says me...

I bring this up due to a newspaper bloke saying this..."I haven't been asked...but if I was...I'd tell the masses that you will fail...it's how you handle that...how you pick yourself up"...yea right...that's what you want to hear at YOUR graduation...

Chamber's Bay...you heard of this place?...me neither...it's the site of the guy's US Open...PGA...and relatively new...built in 2007...and the blokes who have played it...call it dastardly things...pasture land, and of course, worse...it's this week...and we will see it...geez, they all seem like ridiculous to me...
