Monday Decaf

It's a new week for us Horsites, right?...of course...and today we have little tidbits that you need to know...things that will go well with your Monday cup of coffee...

Think that there isn't good guys out there anymore?...the winning jockey of the Triple Crown...Victor Espinoza...donated his winnings from the Belmont to cancer research...

Kyrie who?...A marvelous game plan by the Cavs...completely frustrated the Warriors...and can't believe that GS had a chance to win...superior defensive scheme, had the Warriors scrambling for their shots...and lordy, they took a gaggle of bad ones...and LeBron and Co. totally dictated the pace of play...say what you want about the Cleveland Coach and Staff...but they were far better prepared than that of GS...hmmm...series tied and goes back to Ohio...

Which was the site of the Memorial T...where I couldn't find the OT playoff on the pixels...the Euro beat the Brit...not exactly sure if they still live where they are really from...most of them blokes end up in Florida, or around there....is it just me, or are all those golf courses near impossible to play?...

Speaking of Fla...where our condo is in Cocoa Beach, made a name for itself yesterday...used to be the spot where Walter Cronkite did his show when the Space Program was in full bloom...directly across from our condo...vet owners told us they would sit on their balcony and watch the broadcast...anyway, there has been shark attacks this past month...in shallow water...geez, we have boogie boarded in it so much...always wondered...not any more...

I did catch some of the Tony Awards...now THAT'S the way a show should be produced!...fast paced, with a number of acts of many of the better plays in NYC...have to admit, not exactly in my genre...but still...there are a lot of very talented people in that neck of the woods...

One of my sites that I whisk thru in the am, prior to writing is E! Online Celebrity News...don't condemn me...I read thru like 10 or so...Horse is very learned...ha ha...anyway, they talk and show more about the K fam than anyone...anyone...it should be called K! Online Pseudo Celebrity News...I'm just saying...

Well now, the Pads won 2 in Cincy...and then got zeroed in the 3rd...4-0...we are feast or famine...and are in Hotlanta for a set...the other Upton is finally back for us...not sure where he is going to fit...which OF sits?...hmmm...we dropped Almonte...why not Gyorko?...I dunno...

Every one of the major news sources are using the 2 convicts that escaped as their lead article...and no one knows where they are...speculation of inside help to break out is now being bantered about...

This oil spill up in Santa Barbara...deja vu...as it did the same back in the 60's...'69 for sure...and the show I'm watching said it happened in '64, too...

You know when many of the world leaders gather and talk about the monetary situation, why don't they talk about the ISIS dilemma, too?...maybe they do...

With the number of Repub Prez wannabees, maybe at 10 or so...the one thing they have in common?...they don't like Hillary...

Uh, did you see the pictorial highlights of the gals and their dresses that attended the Tony Awards?...ie, JLo, one of them K gals, and Monica...hmmm...

And that's the way it is, Monday...June 8...2015...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
